  1. Where and how much?, any pics and did you have a choice of finish? Wrap or replacement cf finish seems a much better option as I fear a respray will only chip again quickly
  2. when i arranged a test drive at my nearest nissan dealership, was a little concerned that when the salesman got in the car, and we were about to set off when we noticed the dte read ----. So we puled into the garage adjacent to the dealership and he put £10 of fuel in. Ignition back on, dte still read ----.!!. Test drive convinced me that this was the car i wanted and at least i know i have some miles to spare when the reading gets low. Have also noted that reading jumps from 20 to ---- in no time
  3. Who has confirmed the year of manufacture? last time i looked at a v5, it only states date of first registration. As has been mentioned, nice looking car but make sure you know exactly what you are buying before competing the purchase. Let us all know how you got on.
  4. Anyone know how to read the vin no. to give some answers?
  5. Welcome, west mids is a bit vague, do ou want to give us a clue?
  6. Nice looking zed and welcome. Slightly confused by the bonnet though, the reg plate and gt4 wheels suggest one of the last 350's, but why no bonnet bulge as i thought these were on all post 07MY cars. could it be an 06MY not registered for a couple of years? If you are happy with the car gre.at, but I would want to investigate a bit further as it may have implications on resale
  7. sounds just like mine, better check the driveway! gunmetal or twilight? think the 07 model colour changed slightly and then called Twilight grey. Not important, welcome and enjoy!
  8. Welcome. not a common sight around Brum, had mine 6 weeks now and only spotted one on wolverhampton road and one on bristol road in that time (parked next to one in tescos worcester this week but that doesn't really count) Also looked at the TT before buying the zed, what made you change and are you pleased with move? Queensway tunnel with windows down.....awesome
  9. live in bournville, office at aston, too much time on A38 through city but work means i do approx 8k a year visiting sites throughout west mids area. feel like a mason, is there a secret signal?
  10. hi, thanx to all of your guys posts, finally got ok from the wife to swap my e39 bmw for a 350z. forum a big help in researching car and it only took a brief test drive and few high revs of the v6 to confirm my choice. picked it up in a blizzard last thursday so no real chance yet to enjoy it properly but in fairness, has coped better in the icy conditions than the bmw (better traction control or more respectful driver?). will post pics once it has lost the ice, snow and dirt! intend to keep car pretty standard (one of the last run so well specd). FYI, looked at buying same spec car but with lower mlg, (15k to my 20k) that was going through BCA Bedford 3 weeks ago. however had only got a 2000 mile service stamp and autolease had a reserve a "little in excees of the guide price of £16k", and by the time you add BCA's buyers premium, minimum it could have been bought for by a private buyer was £16,600. Bought this from colliers birmingham ( i know dealers don't have best reputation but my first 350z, more certain in it's provenance and it's a lot of money to spend if i buy a "pup"!) serviced prior to collection, valeted, unmarked alloys, 2 new bridgestones to front, unexpired warranty till feb 2012, mats, tonneau cover etc and still had change from £17k. anybody know what the one at BCA made? see very few in south birmingham, anybody to look out for? hope to find time for occasional west mids meet
