  1. It's a copy I bought off ebay! Japspeed! But.. Nothing wrong with it and it sounds awsome! Check out my short build thread for info on what I done to it... The girl who had it after me done a couple more bits, but I have no idea what... I did have big plans for the car, but then I got bored! I got my eye on a C63 now, before I get myself a GTR!
  2. So your the one who bought my old zed! I seen it advertised on pistonheads, called the girl up and she told me she had already taken a deposit Have fun with it... I spent a fortune on them mods I will get another soon!

  5. Lol.... Sorry guys for my lack of vids and pics! I'm using the tapatalk app that is utter shite for letting me post any pics The MeisterR's so far... I am happy the garage set them on the hardest setting... Which wasn't too hard at all.. I have since softened them up 5 clicks. I will keep having a play and keep updating you. They have 32damper settings... Apparently :s I can't remember exactly. They have only been lowered 20mm so far too.. I'm going to lower them another 20mm on Monday. So when I have the wheels off I will take some pics, load them onto the laptop and get a photo bucket account so I can get them on here for all you moaning little girls lol. I may see if TDI north will be able to fit me in for an up-rev on Monday too.. Then I will get some vids up too Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  6. MeisterR suspension being fitted today should be ready to pick up at 5pm. Fitted my 06airbox mod yesterday. Im goin away again next week. So the next stage of mods will have to wait until i get home this will include a racing clutch and flywheel. As mine hasn't liked the abuse i have thrown at it much.

  11. Lol.... I will do when the weather dries up, that's no problem! I am crap with taking pics! The amount of how-to guides I could have done if I took more pics is un-unbelievable! I will give my car a quick clean when it's dry and update my 1st post with pics. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  12. Mods... Could you make this a sticky please?? Well... Now i can tell you for a FACT!!! This worked!! Took me litterally 2 minutes! Pull the rubber trim off to give access to the rear plastic trim, pull the bottom of the trim outwards and carefully pull upwards and remove! Dont pull out too far though as theres an interior light on that pannel.. Once you have done that you will be at the latch! Loosen the 2 X 12mm nuts and move the latch down as far as it will go... Tighten up, put the trim back and test That will be a tenner please And the next person to waste money on new springs will get a slap!!! Haha
  13. Just ordered the Zeta-R coilovers of ya! Cheers for the discount... Shame the discount didnt apply to the other bits i bought though Cant wait until they arrive so i can get them all fitted now
  14. They do!!! I bought the front and rear camber control arms and the rear toe arms too i think i might sort the brakes next... Hel hoses, uprated discs and pads.. Then go for a plenum spacer and uprev but that will be for next time i am home as i am back to work in less than 2 weeks

  17. Stuff it..... Gonna bite the bullet and buy some MeisterR coilovers!! Lol.... Can't take my money to the grave can I??? lol Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  18. As I said.. De-cats do fall apart, because there the most stressed parts of the systems. The only reason why more expensive items might last *longer* is because there made with thicker steel.. If you were to chop a japspeed decat in half and add a flexi, that would last longer. The reason they don't do that is because of cost.. (Same goes with the expensive manufacturers) I guarentee that my system will outlast any de-cats I put on there Stainless steel is a quite brittle material because of the high carbon content.. It doesn't like to be bent, heated and cooled. Whereas.... Mild steel which standard systems are made from, don't mind it so much so they last longer.. The reason why car manufacturers make systems out of mild steel rather than stainless isn't just about cost. It's about just that! My point??? Nothing wrong with cheapo exhaust systems.... There bloody good value even if they need a tweak to fit (which mine never) and in my opinion, In my search for high power with a turbo conversion, I would take a replica exhaust over a super expensive custom system which has had absolutely no development put into it and even if my exhaust isn't a perfect gas flow and costs me 1-2bhp off my goal of 600bhp, I really dont think that is worth the extra 2grand for the HKS Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  19. Meh.... I personally have never seen any proof of any of these cheap exhaust failing in any way... Ever.... I have seen turbo down pipes cracking on mr2 turbos. But that is it.. I had a motoria exhaust system on my mr2 turbo and that was perfect. Bought it used, had it fitted 2 years, then sold it on again. If it fails, then I will eat my words though Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
  20. Well.... Today i fitted my japspeed K4 true dual system which i only ordered yesterday and they arrived by 3pm Im absolutely chuffed with this system! The fitment was perfect apart from needing to trim the diff cover.. The sound is awsome! Maybe a little on the loud side.. But who cares?? Lol.. I also changed the engine and gearbox oils and added molyslip to the gearbox.. And changed the spark plugs for NGK platinum items Tomorrow i should receive another one of my purchases.. An electronic throttle controller from EPracing And later on i should be recieving some de-cats, auto mirror folding mod and an 06+ airbox conversion Will post a pic of the exhaust later
  21. It should be adjustable.. Just lower it slightly. It should clear when first popped then. I havent had time today to look at mine. But will try my best. Im getting a few jobs done on the car today.
  22. Sourced them from vivid racing in the states... Just waiting for them to get back to me with a final shipped price so i can order them.. Ive bought quite a lot today
  23. I would be looking at the latch if new springs don't work. Try lowering the latch just slightly, so when you close the lid, it still latches.... There is every possibility that over time, the latch has moved upwards. I will check this on mine tomoz and let you know. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
