  1. Hi all,

Finally getting round to putting these up for sale! They came off my zed 9 years ago (c35k miles done on them) to be replaced by aftermarket wheels, and have been garage stored since then. Accordingly, the Bridgestone RE050A tyres are old, but they have a decent amount of tread on the fronts, not so much on the rears, but still a bit left there.

The wheels are in pretty good nick, with no kerbing or scratches, and centre caps are all present and decent looking. There are small patches of corrosion here and there on the spokes of every wheel, some fine splatters from road tar etc, and the barrels have brake dust stains / the remnants of old wheel weight tape on them.

Price now £450, collection only from Manchester. Any questions, fire away, and thanks for looking.

  2. Hi Zedderz,

Due to an impending house move, I need to get rid of various OEM parts that have come off my car to be replaced by uprated parts over the past 9.5 years of ownership. Condition of items varies but it's all been stored in my (dry) garage since removal from the car. I've no idea how to price any of this stuff tbh, but I'll give it a bash and am open to offers. Everything is collection only from Ruislip, NW London (I'm lazy and cba posting!).

Strut brace, removed from car June 2012 / c40k miles, needs a bit of a clean, but good condition with no scratches £30

Induction and coolant hoses, removed from car Oct 2017 / c56k miles. Few marks here and there, but rubber is all in good shape. £FREE

DE rear lights (non-LED), good condition, no damage to lenses. I did however manage to snap the plastic tab that locates the fitting horizontally on both lights when removing them. I can’t see that this would do much harm if anyone wanted to fit these in the future, but price reflects the damage. £60 for the pair

Bonnet strut, few marks here and there, but good condition. £FREE

Y-pipe, removed from car Dec 2010 / c32k miles. Was working fine when it came off the car but the flanges around the flexis are pretty flaky (literally as you can see in the pics). Flexis themselves in good nick though. £FREE as a result (I wouldn’t pay money for it!)

Cats, removed from car same time as the y-pipe. Again, working fine when removed. They look a bit tatty with slightly crusty flanges at one end, but handy if you want a pair of cats to refit for an MOT for a de-catted car. £SOLD

Front and rear shocks, removed from car May 2014 / c49k miles. No issues with how these were working when removed from the car (they were replaced with KW V3s for performance / ride height reasons). Surface corrosion present on dampers as you can see. Springs in good shape but with a few bubbly corrosion patches here and there. £60

    Thanks for looking,

  3. If anyone is looking to buy one of these then I'd recommend going through TRL on the Babybmw forum - he will give you the best price straight off the bat (20% off list on my M135i purchased earlier this year). Great cars :)

  4. No one pays the list price on any BMW. 10% off is minimal discount you should be pushing for.

Definitely. And if you buy through TRL on Babybmw you should see 20% off list on these I think (that's what I got on my recent M135i purchase).

Love the 2 Joe and as others have said, looks fantastic in red. Are the grilles an easy change? And do you have a link for where you got yours?

  5. Just got one of these myself a few months ago (also in alpine white) - awesome blend of comfort and speed, and I went fully de-badged for added stealth hehe. Did you go for the auto or manual? Anyway, enjoy :)

We have asked for this to be debadged and we went auto (I've turned MrNiki to the dark side haha!)

Hehe the auto is a great 'box, and but I stuck with manual in the end - loosening up nicely after 500 miles :) Debadged ftw tho :)

  6. I also run these and they are great. More control, especially over sharp compressions, than standard shocks and not much firmer (if at all with my set up - done by Abbey Motorsport). Just be aware that even on the highest setting they drop the car by 20mm vs. standard (if I remember rightly - correct me if I'm wrong someone!). I find most speedbumps are ok if taken slowly but have had a few light scrapes on the underside when 2-up.
