I only got my car last week from an offical dealer. And i was getting a strange grinding/wurring noise when my clutch was engaged in neutral and as i pulled away. I took it back to the dealer and they said it was the clutch release bearing so its booked in for next week to have the gearbox out and have the bearing changed.
I have just got a 313 from a dealer as well and mine whines abit. If I give the engine a rev when the car is stood still the whine changes with the engine speed. Does that sound the same thing?

Am I the only one who values cruise control, look to get it on all my cars.I use it to make long motorway hauls more relaxing and to make sure I don't exceed the speed limits (when on unknown roads ).
It's a very cheap retro fit on some cars(e.g VAG),but not sure if a Zed would be that easy or cheap?
I have heard its not easy on a 350z as you have to do some low level tinkering with the ECU. Not sure if this across all the models. There is a fair bit of info about this on the US forums.

I am on my second Zed, my first was a GT 280bhp and the one I have now is a non-gt 313bhp with custom leather seats.
I have been all round the country looking at Zeds for months and I always said to myself I have to get another GT and it must be the 313bhp model, problem was I could not find any which were in the right condition. Finally a car turned up on my doorstep at a main dealer (4 miles away, I had been going over 100 miles!!) and it was in my fav colour the condition was too good to miss, millage was right but it was a non GT. After a lot of debating, I brought the car.

Now I have the car I can say that the standard head unit is not too bad I dont miss the bose at all to be honest I really do think its over rated, dont miss cruise control either. I havent looked back since buying the car, for me condition was everything. I get the impression the GT pack is more important on the 280 and 300bhp models there seems to be more of those about when I was looking and they did not seem to hold their price as much, maybe because they are naturally older?
My advice? hang on for a 313bhp one in good nick, if its a GT its a bonus but not a deal breaker... this is just my 2p though only you know your own priorities.
When's the wedding?

It's a biography not an autobiography: The author and the publisher will get far more (if not all) than Bernie ever will.
On a side note (and simply because you're not the first person to say that, so not picking on you personally!), if no-one likes Bernie that much then the answer is to stop watching F1 and stop supporting it in any way. Truth is that Bernie has done far more for the sport than people actually realise, which is why the book is so important to read.
Oh sorry I did not know that about an biography. To be completely honest and putting BS and banter aside alot of my dislike for Bernie is from just seeing him on TV and what I read/hear in the news. To be fair to the guy I dont think I can really judge him without seeing both sides of the story so I put my hands up on that one, so I stand corrected Problem for me at the moment is getting enough time to read his book!
I just wish I did not have to pay the full blown subscription fee for Sky to continue following the sport next year, does anyone know if you can do a pay per race kind of thing?

You are gonna need more than one sheet of bounty to mop that lot up!

Glad to hear you ok fella. What tyre pressures you running? And when where they last checked?

I think leonk means a structural geometry check, not the laser wheel alignment.
Having the four wheels aligned should be a given anyway.
+1
I have seen some Cat D's for sale and they offered engineers report. It covers you as well if they try and blame any accident on you at a later date.

looks rubbish!

Anyone read 'No Angel', the biography of Bernie? If you haven't I suggest you do, as it will give you a whole different perspective on not only the man himself, but also of F1 in general and the history of where we are today. It also happens to be a really good read You'll see why the Sky deal isn't such a surprise after all.
Put it this way, I'll have a lot more time for Bernie now and a lot less respect for some of the teams.
I would buy it but that would mean I am giving him more of my money!

For those who would like F1 to remain on the BBC
I suspect nothing will happen but worth a punt?

With the HR didnt Nissan change 80% of the engine, did this extend to the exhaust system? I would be worried about putting parts from an earlier engine and negating some of the gains the HR has?

I suspect this has already been posted but there is quite a few pages to this thread so I expect this has got lost....
There is an e-petition calling for rioters to lose their benefits, heres a link to the Beeb with some background

and here is a link the the actual e-petition

Hi all, I am looking at car to buy froma Nissan dealer and I notice on the front wing it has got a small stone chip and its gone through to the metal and started to rust (no bubbling yet). Would this be covered as part of the corrsion waranty? Naturally I am going to ask them to fix this before I would even consider buying the car, but in the future how does this kind of thing get fixed? And who would pay for it? Do you have to sand down that area of the panel to remove the rust then repaint? Or can you just paint over it?
Thanks
-
Forgive me mate but I think you have got your priorities around the wrong way, good oil should come first then things like uprated brake pads etc. Can you hang on abit longer and pay out for the good stuff?

There are some other TT 350z's on PH alot cheaper :

I would have been interested in the 2nd one if I could afford to insure it!

Hi, I am looking to sell my Zed, 40k, S/H, very good condition, black, coupe. Ticking most/all the boxes!!
hmmm it is, millage is higher than I would like. My main concern is paintwork on the black Zeds as I have seen two and they havent been very good and they had less than 40k. But I know each car is individual
Do you wanna pm me some pics and price and where abouts you are based?
Thanks
