Yeah they are off fleabay, I am hassleing the bloke about them and I have raised a dispute with the guy. Really annoying how some people are not honest as I directly asked the guy if everything was there to fit and adjust the suspension and he said there was. Thanks for the support guys!

Well looking around and speaking to the mighty Alex I am missing the rear spring 'perches', if anyone knows where I can get these I would be very grateful if someone could point me in the right direction.

Hi All,

I brought some second hand HKS Hipermax LS+ coilovers, however I think am missing the spring seats for the rear which is at the back of the car. The seats are adjustable so I can adjust the rear ride height.

The bits I am on about is in this picture on the left:

My questions are, am I meant to have these? I guess without them I would not be able to adjust the ride height? Does anyone know where I can get the seats from.

I would really really appreciate any help with this.

I have quite a noisy thrust bearing so I would tell when I did this mod if the clutch was engaged or disengaged. Not sure how fool proof that is but I didnt adjust mine too much.

In reagrd to the clutch and thrust bearing, what wrong with it? Is it making a noise?

Those petrol FR's are quite tuneable if that softens the blow anymore!

I will take a strut bar if its 150 and it will fit a HR?

down on bhp and torque and personally i dont think it looks better but its all about opinions

I would be surprised if that 350z has got 320 bhp unless its had a remap and has more mods than they have stated IMO.

I wouldn't touch a merch because I have heard those hard tops are known to break and cost alot to fix, like I say I have heard that it would be worth researching that to make sure thats the case.

7k for a 350z? I would look for one on here. For 7k you could get a reasonable S2000?

I swear mate. I started on iPhone, then iPad then macbook pro. I was hesitant to switch my laptop but now I would never go back. I have found a programme for every single need so far for free, it hooks up to any hardware effortlessly with no compatibility issues. It is computing heaven. Since sold the iPad as its a glorified iPhone which i had no use for since getting the macbook pro

I must admit I am started to get tempted (I was very anti Mac), I just find it all very expensive and I am not used to paying for any of my software on Ubuntu. Main reason at home I use it is to keep my eye in as thats what all the servers use at work, also I dual boot Win7 for gaming.

That web server is one of my own so it was really easy for me as well (not quite a point and click job tho as the server doesnt have a GUI), I just did a wget straight to it then did everything on there as I wanted the processing power for the convert then dropped the file into a folder which is open to the web, took less than 1min.

I am really starting to like the Mac hardware and I have been looking at it, but my problem is I like to fiddle and I would end up jail breaking everything which kinda defeats the point!

Thing is I work in IT so I love typing in stuff at the command line it makes me feel big and clever I do now appreciate that Mac's bring computers to the masses like never before. In the past if you converted videos you wore socks and sandles and had a beard

I just used the direct link someone gave then used ffmpeg (in ubuntu). I have pm'ed neil a direct link to one of my web servers which has now got the file on it.

 

I used 'Activity' in the 'Window' drop down menu of Safari on my Mac. Easy as that.

And that allows you to nab the video and change the format?! Dam you Macs!

Cant get any rear seats unless you get a 350 GT which are import only I believe. 350z are reliable generally, if your looking at an HR (will have twin intakes) they had alot of changes and all for the good IMO. The facelift Zeds had the RevUp engine and some where known to burn oil I believe so thats something to bear in mind. Personally I wouldnt touch it if its not a HR but thats just me, I have driven all 3 engines and I prefer that one. Top end service is going to alot cheaper that what you're used to. I would ring up your local nissan garage to get your prices locally for servicing. Finally if you do get one, make sure you dont run it on 95 ron fuel!
