  1. Ohhh, and also the RTBiscuit Velocity stack mod...
  2. Anyone asked for Tarmacs carbon bonnet gas struts? Or Huskies rear strut LED down lights?
  3. Pretty sure I had no clicking anyway But is this the "clicky axle" issue people talk about?
  4. GIT! Alex is sorting some out for me now The garage have shed they will put them on for £20! And I get a free retest... So not TOO scary. Can section of more of the cash for the ICE now
  5. You MUST explain that one to me! .It sure does, plus if it is known on the forum, you can search the users posts for history
  6. Sod the train... Go down in the car with a friend/SWMBO and if it is good, have it, if not, you have a lift home Lovely day out
  7. I can't BELIEVE they are going this cheap! Looks like a bargain to me...
  8. FAIL!!!!! "(Both rear) Anti-roll bar linkage has excessive play in ball joint [2.4.G.3]" So, just chatting to ZMAlex, see if he can sort me some...
  9. WELL pi55ed off... Was in Davenport for 10 days three weeks ago. Over at a villa on Old Bridge loop, West Stone Bridge Seems like YEARS ago... Git... Have an ACE time!
  10. Busy lunch.... [EDIT] MUST TRY HARDER... The camera I thought didn't fit DOES fit, just needed a little more "persuasion" then I was giving it before. Can't get the cable to the TV to test it ON the car So will have to wait till I get a headunit [/EDIT] ------------ Also spent a little time in "the workshop" (AKA the Shower!) with a Hole cutter and a jigsaw.... All the dust stays in one place, easy to hoover, good light and wash the dust (and any blood) down the drain Pretty tight for the cable, but I will secure/seal that in with glue when I need to Ended up with this... Just going to re-enforce the joints with some woodglue (Now I can get to them!) then line it will 12mm sticky back acoustic foam. Try to fool the sub into thinking it is in a bigger box than it is Then I have some acoustic covering to wrap it in. Scary... it is all starting to come together.... Just expecting a phone call to say my car has failed the MOT, due to something... possibly the drivers seat-belt not retracting all the way
  11. Presuming the lines are NOT moveable... Which is a bit pants I suppose. I will just have to either line them up... or ignore then (probably the latter!)
  12. Still looks quire subtle in place though..... Finished off cutting the hole in my sub box this morning ... Plus my foam sheets for lining the inside of the box came today. So I think that will be my next step. Although this might ALL come to a crashing halt today when she goes for her MOT!!!
  13. What HU are you trying to pair it with? Unlike old TVs most HU you can select whether it is PAL or NTSC Sweeet... Looking at a P4300DVD. Plus, I think this should be a good sign! Apart from the fact it looks like someone is reversing into my living room!
  14. Bugger, bugger, bugger... They have sent me the NTSC one NOT the PAL version ... Will it still work with UK head units?
  15. ----------- [EDIT] THIS DOES FIT... PERFECTLY!!! MUST TRY HARDER... The camera I thought didn't fit DOES fit, just needed a little more "persuasion" then I was giving it before. Can't get the cable to the TV to test it ON the car So will have to wait till I get a headunit [/EDIT] ----------- I think with a slight modification, this should fit. Was a bit of a sod to get the light in... a little tight, so use of "Stan The Man" was needed to open the hole a teeny tiny amount. Not worked out WHY it WON'T fit though. Seems to be the same size as the original, with the same kinda fittings. but it seems to drop out. Ordered this one... but contacted them to upgrade it to the CCD camera, which was an extra £4.30, so about £23 in total! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/330533965399 I will keep you lot updated. She is going for an MOT today, so I can't really play with the plate lights in case I kill em
  16. OK... so GOOD news and not so good news... The camera has arrived!!! Very impressed it turned up this quickly. And it LOOKS identical to the standard light! The NOT so good news is ... it doesn't fit properly It goes in, but feels loose and falls out.... I think a slight amount of alteration will make it fit perfectly. bit of a pain, but for £23, you can't grumble too much! Anyone know how I can test it without a head unit... will it work on my TV input?
  17. Obviously not a fan of Red. They don't turn all turn pink if you look after them, polish and wax them on a regular basis and don't leave them out in the sun for months on end. Car covers or keeping it in a garage will prevent paint fade also. Have a look at a photo of Chilli reds (Sarah's) 350z in the photos and media section, hers still looks brand new and very much red. The other thing to consider is that the Azure is a metallic paint but Chilli red is just Gloss, lacquered. Some of the ones I have seen in pics look GLORIOUS... Including Sarah's... But they seem to be more work than any other colour... but some think that it pays off with the look
  18. Couldn't have a Red car myself... 1... They all eventually turn pink.... 2... ALL cars look better in a DIFFERENT colour to Red... (IMHO)
  19. http://pristinedetailing.co.uk He knows Zed's inside out!
  20. HA HA HA ... moved up a small amount from the teeny tiny JL to a teeny tiny Genesis Profile Four Ultra I am off to see a sound deadening specialist today to get a quote, see what he says. Looking forward to the pics, cheers
  21. Try lifting it without the struts! I'm not strong by a long shot.... But there was no way I could lift the boot with one hand with no struts! As Ian says, have someone to help you when you are taking them off.
  22. STILL never seen a Red one... Pretty rare. Not my colour of choice on any car to be honest, but you would be hard pushed to see one of the same colour. Some of the photos I have seen (including ersen.o's) are VERY nice... Then the blue is also a very nice colour.
  23. £15... something tells me that was a STEAL! Where is the carcass you are stripping?
  24. Can I respray/touch up my center dash section at all? I have a few scruffs and marks down to the "grey" under coat. DON'T want to wrap it... carbon or black or any other colour. Can I just touch up the spots that there are? Or do I need to do the whole lot? Suggestions please guys... They look WORSE in real life than the do in the images
