Right, I have just reconfirmed with Caroline at Beaulieu of our numbers. She's putting plot together for us that can accommodate up to 50 cars and we'll be the biggest gathering of all other marques and models, so this is a good show on our part. Understand there are over 200 vehicles there on display, plus of course the excellent museum and theme park around it. It should be an AWESOME day and the weather is looking like it should be reasonable for the Sunday too! Can I please stress the pre-meet point and the respective times. Because of this event, its size and indeed our own size, we ALL need to arrive at Beaulieu at the same time, therefore we all need to meet at Tesco around 9am and we aim to leave no later than 9.20 (if anyone has watched the film 'Clockwise', they'll know that time well)! Yup, correct. Aim to be at Tesco for 9am. I'll try and get there a little before that. Event organisers suggest we need to ALL arrive together and the earliest we can get there is 9.30am I don't really do this, but I am putting up my mobile number just incase, 07510169836. We have 25 Z32s going, 21 of you guys and probably half a dozen from zclub.net making nearly 50 in total! I'll be speaking to the event organisers tomorrow.

Right guys. Glad the numbers are increasing! We'll aim to meet offsite a few miles away so that we can all convoy in together as per show organisers' requests. I'll post more details over the next coming days. I think we have nearly 50 cars going (appreciate some will drop out), but I guess at the least, we'll have about 40 Z cars there which will be awesome! Let's outnumber those Scooby and Honda boys!

If your driving down from Bristol I will join in with you. I live in Trowbridge so could meet you on route. Let me know what route you're planning to take. Sounds good to me. I was looking at taking the A350 pretty much all the way there out of Chippenham or take the A36 and maybe meet in Warminster, so that works quite well. I'll fix up convoy/meet points in the coming few weeks, but I'm up for that. Those others, thanks, I'll add you to the list and will do a final roll call a few weeks before the event so that we have enough parking spaces. I think we'll still be around the 40-45 car mark, which is excellent! Remember also, that if your name's down and you're going, you'll need to register on the Beaulieu website for tickets, or via phone. I think you might be able to pay on the gate. We'll meet a few miles off site before hand and will travel in in a large convoy at the organiser's request.

Only a small number have dropped out, so I'll be looking to get a stand capable of holding up to 40 cars. We have around 25 on the Z32 forum, a couple from Zclub and the 15 we have here. I am sure numbers will change slightly, but that should give us a decent enough plot. Nearler the time, Steve (z32bolt) and I will arrange meet points and/or convoys for those driving from further afield. I'll be driving down from the Bristol area, Steve is local-ish.

Anyway, that aside, I have been speaking with Caroline at Beaulieu today and we'll soon be needing final numbers as she needs to know how big our club plot will need to be (which answers a previously asked question regarding parking together). If I can have final names by the end of the month, that would be great. So what are the constraints with refitting splined bolts? The splines would already have been compressed when previously used. Can they be re-used? (interested in the used set)

Ok. I'm just trying some cheapo universal spacers this week to see how much close I can get to the arch. All going well, I'll buy these. Glad they're still available.
