to the blade club. Same year aswell.
I too can mainly be spotted in & around Workington.
-
fellow Cumbrian.
Where-a-bouts are you based? I'm in the Workington area. There's a few of us round these parts now.
-
Should come with a viewing warning -
"garage queens may find the following scenes disturbing!"
-
Cheers everyone, faces new and old.
It certainly was "different" but was enjoyable as I didn't even realise how long we had been out!
-
6:45 eh ? , makes me judder
Will try to meet you guys at Esso then
That's what I thought the first time I went on this run but well worth it
The less vehicles on the roads the more enjoyable it is!

oh, and i'll be bringing the GoPro along with my suction mount, as I haven't had the chance to test it yet
If you're planning on mounting it to the cars exterior at some point, I sure hope it's waterproof......
Yep, waterproof to 30m I think, should be enough. maybe.
Even the Lake Districts rainfall shouldn't put that to the test

Yep, OK for me too.
Early start means beer tokens saved/spend on fuel instead. Winner winner

Sunday actually works out better for me now - can go watch some of the Wilson Rally on Saturday.
Are the west cumbria boys heading through together?
Can do if you like. Name your meeting time and place...

Happy Birthday Marra Enjoy
May get to meet you this weekend on the Hartside run.....?
Thinking back to when I was 21 , my "ride" was nowhere near the equivalent of a Z. Was a 1.4 Astra Merit in Red with a really dull interior.......
.....Happy days tho
-
Always up for this one Andrew
I should be home at that time and could do either day. Saturday would be my prefered choice but will just go with the flow.

White 370z parked up P*60 XEN
That one is parked up there quite a lot - think it's the owners of the furniture store there.
Blade 350z driving N13 C*RAs for the blade - must be the mystery one going round that I can never see stationary to flyer them....?
-
None of those were my Z - it was getting some tlc but only on my own driveway.
I have only ever seen one other silver Z around here but always when on the move. Don't think they are on here.
-
Cheers guy's.
Just having a chill-out day. It's nice to be off work for it for a change. Prob have a couple of cold ones later tho!
Will celebrate properly at the weekend
Hope you all a great crimbo and New Year

That's great news Marra, congratulations
Hope you both have a fantastic day and an even better life together.
All the Best

It's looking like I will also be at work and can't get out of it
Which is a shame as there are some cracking open & twisty roads around there, the cooked breakfast ain't too shabby either
Andrew - you could be store-fed that day if you then link up with the potential combined NW/NE/YORKS meet......
-
Hello &
Shouldn't be too hard to spot that tidy looking example about.
-
Sorry Martin/guy's.
Got plans for this weekend already so won't be able to make it to a meet.
Hope the rain stays away.
-
I did drive past a silver Z with some fancy lighting in the sides of the front bumper on the way home last night near that bad corner coming out of workington to lillyhall , might ring some bells ?
That wasn't me either. Haven't driven the Z for a few days now.
There is another silver/GM I have seen a couple of times in passing around Wton but never to stop & speak to.
Sounds like you got plenty of plans for your motor already.....
-
so if anyone has an induction kit as well id appreciate a little look
Sorry Can't help you there either. Don't think any of us in the immediate area run one. Plenty of threads & pics on the forum of all the different ones available.
That wasn't me in Iggesund car park. You should have spotted flyered them to see if they were on the site.
Get an intro put up in the introductions section (unless you already have & I've missed it) along with some pics so we know what car to look out for.
11 MPG that's some fun driving you must have had

Hello there.
I'm in Workington but only running the oem set-up so not much help to you there.
There is another member in your area, Cowie, who has just had a recent upgrade. Not heard it myself but check out his thread in the exhaust section.

No sound clips though.
Soon be Saturday when you're behind the wheel

new back end, sills and front lip mate
Excellent, that's some work in progress. You've definitely got the modding bug then......
-
Nice one mate.
Looks and sounds like you are well chuffed with the results.
What's next.......?
a good body shop in cumbria
in North West

I use Evolution in Maryport for all my car needs over the years and never been disappointed.
Couldn't comment on the following but Irving's in Workington seems to be a well used one.
Whitehaven you have Pondfield (who done a great job on re-shelling an astra sri for me but was 10+ years ago) and Pottery body works.
