Fuel Return System time. Bennett knows his stuff and made short work of everything in his way, I just left him to it
CJM output kit on end of fuel rail
Fuel Bucket was a pain to get back in, established my fuel gauge is rubbish as it showed near empty and there was loads of fuel left
Bucket out
Fuel return line eventually found its way through the floor
Bucket back in but modified with all the little bits and pieces, because of all the weird angles and crap in the way had to arrange a route for the return line
Jobs a goodun and the lines were ran and secured under the car and popped up in the engine bay
Return line hooked up to under FPR and side port hooked up to CJM output on fuel rail
FPR hooked up and pressure tested to 100psi to check for leaks...it leaked
Bit of fettling and tightening and some ptfe tape and shes in pressure tested and holding well

on with the build
having being identified as a prolific dropper of bolts and tools all exposed holes in engine were quickly blocked up
as the fuel rails were out, time for some new injectors and also changed to one step colder plugs at the same time
and in there new home
whilst this was going on the horns and power steering cooler were relocated

haha no worries mate ive been meaning to change them thanks for link
-
good little write up I had to do the same with mine, though I just ran fused power straight from battery then tapped into the ground on the existing loom. another jdm converted
-
haha I got grief for my lights already, I did have led's in them but kept blowing so couldn't be bothered with hassle and put OEMs back in,il take a look at the silvertech, I know long time coming on the install, stay tuned for rest of the journey.....

Firstly massive thanks and hats of to Bennett for having me and being a fountain of knowledge on most things including the zed
had a laugh and was relatively stress free except for the RAC stitch up at the end! Forum wont allow the amount of thumbs up I want to put down
So the trip started early morning on tuesday and beat all the traffic up for an early start.
Straight to it...get the strut bar/plenum off and cut many harnesses and remove many bits of plastic I didn't even know was there,Bennett soon ripped most of it out
more to follow when pics finish uploading.....

I got both locations wrong, but close enough! As other have suggested best to go to one of the mentioned garages
-
I live near Kingston, and no specialists nearby really, Jez at Horsham or Abbey in Godstone are closest reccomended specialists , other than that it would be an independent garage
-
looks a great example welcome to zed ownership

Just a little feedback..I bottomed the front out 3 times today going into London, got back home and checked underneath...Skid Plates are doing there job bumper completely untouched, highly recommend
-
RAC here too, although if your still not sure while waiting for recovery, take the front bumper off and then shouldn't have any issues
-
Fully taxed and insured the zed going for a drive in the sun for first time properly in over a year

I do my own and keep receipts for everything then the new owner (there wont be one
) can see its all there and accounted for so I would say just do that

Decided to bleed the brakes today, went surprisingly ok, hardest part was getting the car up off all 4 wheels
few aerial shots
Brake bleeding setup
Went round twice bleeding just to make sure it was ok, pedal went hard so put everything back on and drove to end of garages and slowed down and locked up on the gravel so I presume all is good
will give it a proper test and bed in soon but im pretty happy all is ok and it feels a lot better just from the short drive.
Also trekked it up to Bennetts and sat on the M25 for 2.5 hours then had to drive 2 more hours
roughly 2 hour journey took me 5 hours
dropped all my charging stuff off and now the brakes are done shouldnt be long till its Vortech time!
Had to buckle up Supercharger for journey, better safe than sorry
mrs didnt look impressed with that one

cant beat a bit of two tone, nice to see a different lip to, suits the mods you have done well

nope mine is an import and in the lower tax bracket
-
Mines gone up in the south, but what I think is yes they have frozen the price but that was when we were in the 120s so technically its still frozen at that price so they can fluctuate between that and lower without getting in trouble.
That might not be the case but if not how have I gone from 104.9 to 116.9?
-
interesting they used to have a selection for bumpers/bodykits/sideskirts under car parts courier but seem to have taken it off
Not sure on weight dimensions im sure someone will be along to help but make sure there is someone in all day at either end to help the process go smoothly from my experience
