Hi everyone!

I have a question. My girlfriend, lovely as she is bought a me a Supercar Experience day for Xmas

I will get 3 laps driving a choice of 3 cars and wanted some advice to see what cars I should choose to drive!

The options are:

Nissan GTR

Lambo Mercialago

Ferrari 430

Audi R8

There are a few others but I don't have the papers with me here, I will add them later.

Which would you go for??

Hi everyone

Got a slightly strange problem.

Every now and then when changing gear, in any gear, at any speed my clutch is clicking when compressed / released. I can feel the click in my foot coming off of the pedal but the sound seems to be coming from higher up than the pedal?

Has anyone had this before? It stops after a few minutes, but happens semi-regularly now...

I havn't cried about anything in a long while, until this... RIP Marco, you were my favourite rider by far and I am sure you had more success to come. It's such a shame it was cut short.

Hi everyone

After my MOT I was advised that my front brake discs have pitted and have always considered upgrading the brakes on my Z anyway.

What discs / pads package would you guys and girls reccomend? I am looking to spend £300 or less for the lot but do want a good set... Is that possible or do I need to spend more?

Where abouts in Leicester are you based and what colour is your Z? Will keep my eyes out!!

I got my vinyl from a company in poland on Ebay. I think it worked out at £32 delivered and it is genuine 3M gloss black.

Im from Aylestone and am back an forth between Leicester and Lutterworth.

 

I havent been to any meets yet (although going to JAE this weekend)

I have a GM Zed with black wheels and black roof.

Where abouts are you from? If you need a hand with the roof if you do it yourself I can give a hand but im no expert.

Check the measurements though.. The quality of that is good as it's proper 3m and quite cheap too!

Also get a squeedgy tool and go slow and it will look like this:

Mines a Cat C and I have owned it for the last year with no problems at all! If the car has been fully repaired, I can't see that there should be a problem!

@Tad - my version - got rid of the reflection on the car from the boom as well

Ahh I thought so... Bad times...

I will check that when I drive it tonight. Is it an urgent thing that needs to be fixed otherwise will cause major problems or just a glitch that you can live with?

Is it possible for a Z to develop the clicky axle problem? When I move off in 1st and 2nd I hear a tiny click noise? Also happens in reverse...

Where abouts did you get it if you don't mind me asking? I bought gloss but it was just too difficult to apply, don't know if it was bad quality or what. Also did you apply it wet or dry?

Got it off of eBay! Link below - Was really easy to apply actually... And I did it dry, not really sure how it could be done wet??

I like them... but prefer mine

My car is a Cat C... And drives, looks, feels PERFECT...

If the car has been damaged and repaired well, checked and cleared - you should have no problems at all!

There's a member on here (username iludes me) that has just taken a write off and almost rebuilt the whole of 1 side and you would never know the difference!!

Did my roof the other day, surprised me how easy it was! Although it's not 100% perfect, I am happy with it and the fact that it saved me over £100 doing it myself....

Is it just the light or is the sideskirt a slightly different colour??

I'm assuming there is a relay fitted that de-activates the button once the engine is on?

I had a similar one in my old FTO, ended up never using it because it was extra effort every time I wanted to start the car! Pointless but fun
