Just thought i would update this, the first set of bulbs i got, once i had fitted one side and switching them on i find they were purple/pink ?? wasnt happy to say the least. But i have since then got new 10k bulbs from UK and they look the business! very very happy, i will update with some pics tonight for you guys. i have already converted one 350z mate who saw them

Does this sit at the same height as the oem one?

After debadging the 350z from the car i want to change my rear nissan burger badge to a Z version. Just wanted to know if people have any pics of them fitted? as im torn between getting the silver and the chrome, as the silver will match with the door handles etc whilst the chrome will match the Fujitsubo exhaust! Slightly tempted by the black Z also, but not sure if that is too much on a black Z already? pics would be great if anyone has them fitted?

Right, so i have now ordered some 10000k bulbs after installing my old 8k set on my mates civic last weekend i decided i needed a little more blue lol, so will update when i get them fitted (hopefully this weekend). Cant wait, worst case they are too blue for my liking i will order some 8000k bulbs, but at £10 a pair with a 1year warranty you cant go wrong? Med

as far as i know its the stock 06facelift fly wheel mate, so not sure which one that is? ah ok, thanks for the answers guys, if it is the clutch release bearing then im assuming that can only be fixed when the whole gearbox is out? if so, then its deffo not worth worrying about!!

Is it possible to fit a reversing camera to work off the factory sat nav screen? as i am planning on keeping the factory headunit! anyone done this before?

I have a slight rattle everytime i start/switch off the car if the clutch is not depressed, it sounds like its coming from the gearbox, or transmittion related. if i press the clutch down it doesnt happen. The clutch doesnt slip and i dont hear that sound anyother times? any idea whats causing the noise?

are these in stock? as i need one

by having the decat pipes/art pipes does this make alot more of a difference to the sound? as i want to get a nismo exhaust as i love the sound it makes!! and with decats it may sound even better but im worried it will be too loud and drone on motorways?

do you have any pics of yours? and also if anyone has any pics of theirs with the 8K bulbs in? i need to change mine ASAP lol, is it a hard job?

Im not too keen on the lights on my 06 350z, the xenons seem to be a bit too white/yellow for my liking. im assuming they are around 6000k bulbs, i have had a look and i see they are D2R bulbs i believe? id be looking to go to 8000k bulbs as i believe the slight white/blue will complement the car alot more just wanted to know if anyone has changed them? and if they have any warning lights that came on? and lastly any pics? i would be looking at buying the HIDS4U kit, as i have had them in the past and the quality is brilliant and they have a 2year warranty! hows the difference in handling and flat out power/speed feel in comparison? I think theres a 0.7s difference in 0-60 compared to the type R as far as book figures are concerned? Your right about the insurance, i do get cheaper insurance quotes with the 350 than with the R.....i can only imagine that's because of the raw high-revving nature of the R which loves a thrashing to the redline so you get loads of chavs racing about in them and their crazy maneuvers = more frequent crashes and dogs balls insurance prices for everyone else :/ frankly i've come to realise, vtec + UK roads = bad combo because the design of the k20 engine, power delivery is uneven, theres no torque and the power band is high up. This means revving the nuts off and staying in vtec to perform, it just encourages dangerous driving and could mean loss of control especially it being FWD. Of course none of this matters on a racing track but lets face it, we're never on a racing track lol So this is another point that attracts me to a 350Z, at least theres torque to play with and be lazy on.....i can imagine it being a tamer road car I got my 350 5days ago, and i came from a modded premier edition ep3 (gruppeM+DCsports mani (decat) + Mugen twinloop) to a stock 350z with and exhaust and speedwise the 350 is faster but you dont feel the speed. In the ep3 it was alot more raw, less refined then the 350. which has its pros and cons i.e. long journeys are easy in the 350, whilst in the civic it was go kart like esp when lowered, and was really loud when driving. but then you dont have to change down two gears to get moving in the 350, you can just put your foot down and go. although you need to always keep an eye on the speedo, as you dont realise what speed your doing and can get carried away. mpg wise, well i mainly do short journeys, and dont like hanging about. i averaged 18mpg in my ep3 (roughly 180 miles a tank) and now im getting an indicated 13-17mpg but thats very short journeys and blasting the car around as its still new, and showing mates etc. id guess it would be similar enough to the civic once i get over the newness factor. anymore Qs let me know mate

Are the sensors a factory option? Also, got it up on the ramps at the garage when they were giving it the once over and the guys were complementing on how well the exhaust finish and fitment is! and then i saw a plaque on the system and it looks like i have a Fujitsubo exhaust im assuming its a Legaris R version? which is the one i wanted,as it similar design but slightly less restrictive then the nismo right? if so, then very happy days

Thanks guys Yeh the GruppeM sounded awesome, with the DC sports 4-2-1 mainifold (decatted) and full Mugen twinloop exhaust system it really did sound pretty nice So i managed to get a listen to a mates low milage 350z and it sounded the same, so i think it was just me being overly paranoid haha. But the slight ticking noise i was talking about is only heard when the bonnet is up on the car, and didnt sound like/or as loud as when their is an issue with the fuel damper? but i will get that checked this week anyway to play safe!! So now i am the owner of a 300ps 350z Its a little dirty but heres a couple of pics i took today which i edited on my iphone: Does anyone know what exhaust i have? its not very loud on idle but opens up after 4k!! But it will be undergoing a full detail next weekend, and then it will be very shiney

If it's not the fuel damper and you do find out what it is, please let us know as there are a few with a similar tick. LOL i will check on friday eve when i go to see the car again!! Hi Guys, As you may see i joined up a few years ago with the intention to buy a 350, but insurance was far too expensive then so ended up buying an ep3 civic type R. I done a few bits to that and loved it (Can give pics and specs if wanted). Well now im in the market for a 350 and saw a couple and put a deposit down I am collecting a 300 350z with the nismo kit next week, i just have a few questions: - When the car is running and the bonnet is up, are you meant to hear a small ticking sound? - What parts generally tend to go on the suspension? around 50k miles or so. - also is there anything recommended to help with some bolster marks/wear on the orange seats? Only reason i ask is because i drove the car it seemed fine, just these few little issues playing in my mind! In milton keynes btw if there is anyone local? Thanks, Med
