Don't linger Alfi - do it. You won't regret it.
-
Yep, I was there; as radio car on the Speech House stage (in a Land Rover not the zed) - pleased you enjoyed it. There are some good photos here if you are interested www.britishrally.co.uk/forum/viewtopic. ... &start=120

The threaded studs will align in 5 rotational positions but the wheel will only only fit in one position; that on whch the unthreaded stud slides int the appropriate (additional) hole in the wheel. Unless you have a non-standard (incorrect) spacesaver of course.
-
Mine fits front and rear if located properly
-
Forgive me if this is a silly question: but are you lining up the locating stud with the appropriate hole? The spacesaver will only fit 'one' way.
-
Never mind the tyre dressing; where did you get that sunshine from?

I don't mind you asking; it was £60 plus a donation to some bloke called George Osbourne. I thought it was reasonable considering the quality of the work.

I had an attack of brain fade this week and kerbed an alloy - not a pretty sight, but will teach me to reverse park rather than leap into a slot as I approach. Called in to Alloy Wheel Repair Specialists (posting.php?mode=post&f=9#

I had a CLK for 4 yrs; really enjoyed it.

Bit of advice.... if you are fretting about how much the road tax will be.... DON'T BUY A ZED....
Mine is in the cheaper tax bracket too... but it STILL costs a fortune to run
I have to agree with Slimjim: Zedism aint cheap.

The short answer is 'yes'. The higher rate applies to cars post April 06.
The longer answer is; go to the DVLA site type in the vehicle registration mark and the site will show the VED.

Try an hour or so in one of the shadow theatres (black light theatres); left hand side of Wenceslas Square as you face uphill. Brilliant show.

Cheap solution - get an offcut of carpet, lay the bootmat down as a template, cut, lay the carpet under the thin bootmat. Provides extra soundproofing and saves money for the next mod
After cutting the carpet paint the edges with Copydex to stop them fraying. (copydex will dry/cure clear.)

Welcome to Zedism, Mark.

I used paints4U (about £12 for a very generous can)) for stonechips on my GM - the match was excellent, undetectable from the original, was very pleased.
They will also make up an aerosol for you it you prefer, just give them your paint code.

(For soome strange reason my earlier post hasn't appeared)
I echo the thanks to Tim for organising the session today; it was great to finally meet some of the forum guys, the zed seems to create a superb community. Full marks to the Meguiers guys, sensible advice and techniques without overly-pushing the products, a pleasure to do business with them.

Try these guys in Tewkesbury Wasso; www.reinventingthewheel.co.uk They fixed a kerbed wheel on my car and the results were excellent.

They fine on income basis in Finland as well (and they check that your telling the truth about your declared income).

Well I guess it could be said to be in primer and ready to go azure. Perhaps one day.
-
'Management' just 'phoned to report a "a pretty blue convertable entering the waitrose car park in Malvern" I think she meant azure; also got a "why didn't you get one that colour". Somedays I just can't win.
-
Just over 7K, 06 plate. (Honest).
I struck lucky.

You could try one of these www.machinemart.co.uk/shop/product/deta ... emover-2pc. Worryingly cheap.
Morrison's £60 Pump Limit Raised
in Off Topic Discussion
Posted
I frequently fill my Discovery/spare diesel jerry cans at tesco (particularly when the 5p off offer is on). The disco has a 95Ltr tank and the pump shuts off at 100Ltrs. Tesco regularly take £130+ from me for a single 'fill'.
