  1. Raymond Weil in my books.... Good quality great looks and not copied by every Tom dick and Harry. He says that whilst wearing his Armani watch  but my next one will be a Raymond for sure.

+1 worn my Raymond Weil everyday for 10 years and still love it.

  2.

You'd have to go for a supercharger if you were going the Mk1 mr2 route, this looks nice - shame it's a tin-top instead of t-bar though:

I used to have a very modded supercharger (190bhp according to the garage that modded it, never tested it though), probably the most fun I've had in a car before my brother rolled it!:rant:

  3. Ooooh let me know how much the gen3 ultra long dual intakes (for '07 HR engine) will cost when you know... I may want you guys to fit them as well as apparently they're a PITA to fit so if you can include a fitted & not fitted price that would be great.

  4. What was wondering is........ Would one of u very kind people come and sort me out? I have jump leads and loads of biscuits and tea.

I know I've offered already, but could I make sure I know what you're talking about - previously when someone's asked me to "sort em out" it hasn't involved spark leads! (Well ok, maybe once, but she was weird!)... I don't want to get a *shock* when I get there! :p

On a serious note, you may want to discuss insurance (and worst case scenarios) with whoever the lucky volunteer is - it'd be gutting for both parties if something happened during the trip to the valet place. It may even be worth asking your insurance to add them to your policy fully comp for the day - the insurance company may do it for free considering the circumstances.

  5. I renewed my insurance policy yesterday.

350z GT, 21 years old, 4 years NCB, 4 years driving.. £967 inc breakdown and all the trimmings.

    BOOM! :p

Hold on to that NCB! I'm 33 with no NCB (not owned my own car in a while before the Z) and I don't pay much less than that!

  6. Damn - I'm on night shifts that day, hopefully the next 1 then.

I'm on night shift too :p who needs sleep

Annoyingly Sunday nights are the busiest nights for me (Financial markets open at midnight) so need to be with it! It's only 25 miles away though so I may pop along for a bit if I can get chipsaway (minor alloy refurb and 1 small stone chip to sort - damn previous owner!) and my tyres sorted in time, only 2mm left on 1 of the rears so don't really want to drive until I get that sorted... and I could've sworn I checked the treads when I bought the car a few months ago, I must've been driving more than I thought!

Anyone know what time? I guess if we're eating at 13:00 ish I could get 4 hours sleep before heading down and have a nap before work when I get back.

  7. Looking at the roadsters I imagined that they wouldn't suit a spoiler but I changed my mind today when I saw this thread.

I agree, it looks like it's at the wrong angle! I don't like the solid bottom of the Nismo style spoilers anyway so I wonder if you could lop that off and attach the 2 struts straight to the boot lid? It may make the angle look better on the roadster.

  8. I was told they wouldnt fit but they do. I have one. Just remember the boot is plastic, the guy fitting mine has a bit of a shock.

The boot on a roadster is plastic? You mean the boot lid? Damn I'm tempted to walk downstairs and check that out even though it is late at night... never even noticed!
