"call 2052 Theft of bag while shopping, Burnage"
Burnage?!? Is that a police term???

Raymond Weil in my books.... Good quality great looks and not copied by every Tom dick and Harry. He says that whilst wearing his Armani watch but my next one will be a Raymond for sure.
+1 worn my Raymond Weil everyday for 10 years and still love it.

You'd have to go for a supercharger if you were going the Mk1 mr2 route, this looks nice - shame it's a tin-top instead of t-bar though:
http://www.mr2mk1club.com/forum/viewtop ... =36&t=6015
I used to have a very modded supercharger (190bhp according to the garage that modded it, never tested it though), probably the most fun I've had in a car before my brother rolled it!

Haydn I know people should import it but there is a slight problem, the 370 isn't as popular over here as it is in the US, really it's not that profitable for anyone to do
I've got a 350!

Ooooh let me know how much the gen3 ultra long dual intakes (for '07 HR engine) will cost when you know... I may want you guys to fit them as well as apparently they're a PITA to fit so if you can include a fitted & not fitted price that would be great.
-
If you're getting nothing on the screen (not even the backlight) it could be the screen (or the module it attaches to) - they can usually be replaced but for the price I'd want to be 100% sure first!
You may get some luck if you plug in an external monitor to test - however it may need a function key for the monitor port to work.

use this process
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insura ... -insurance
its a bit of work but if you think, you could spend 2 hours doing this and save 300 quid, thats the equivilant of earning £150/hour for surfing the net
He should probably mention putting someone else on your policy, I always put my dad on as a named driver and get a huge discount because of it (I'm 33 btw).
-
Do you get anything on the screen at all?
-
I'm not sure about the watch - a lot of guys have watches that have meaning (given by their father, family heirloom that kinda thing) so they may never wear it and feel uncomfortable about it.

Just found this website, haven't used them and currently sold out of 225/45R18s but a few pennies cheaper than Camskill, thought I'd post for reference:

What was wondering is........ Would one of u very kind people come and sort me out? I have jump leads and loads of biscuits and tea.
I know I've offered already, but could I make sure I know what you're talking about - previously when someone's asked me to "sort em out" it hasn't involved spark leads! (Well ok, maybe once, but she was weird!)... I don't want to get a *shock* when I get there!
On a serious note, you may want to discuss insurance (and worst case scenarios) with whoever the lucky volunteer is - it'd be gutting for both parties if something happened during the trip to the valet place. It may even be worth asking your insurance to add them to your policy fully comp for the day - the insurance company may do it for free considering the circumstances.

I renewed my insurance policy yesterday.
350z GT, 21 years old, 4 years NCB, 4 years driving.. £967 inc breakdown and all the trimmings.
BOOM!
Hold on to that NCB! I'm 33 with no NCB (not owned my own car in a while before the Z) and I don't pay much less than that!
-
I want some Stillen Gen3 dual intakes... cba importing though, someone should really start importing this stuff!
-
I live 7 miles away (Surbiton) but I'm working until Monday next week (18th?). If it's not sorted by then I can come up on Mon-Weds and sort it. I'll send you a PM.

Expensive things - A 350Z
Sparkly things - Professional detailing on the above
Romantic things - Wrap it in a ribbon
Thoughtful things - She can go shopping in it!
Being pampered - Heated seats
Clothes - Bonnet Bra
Perfumes - Pine tree air freshener
Flowers - Does the pine tree air freshener count?
Have I got the wrong end of the stick?

Damn - I'm on night shifts that day, hopefully the next 1 then.
I'm on night shift too who needs sleep
Annoyingly Sunday nights are the busiest nights for me (Financial markets open at midnight) so need to be with it! It's only 25 miles away though so I may pop along for a bit if I can get chipsaway (minor alloy refurb and 1 small stone chip to sort - damn previous owner!) and my tyres sorted in time, only 2mm left on 1 of the rears so don't really want to drive until I get that sorted... and I could've sworn I checked the treads when I bought the car a few months ago, I must've been driving more than I thought!
Anyone know what time? I guess if we're eating at 13:00 ish I could get 4 hours sleep before heading down and have a nap before work when I get back.
-
Grats!!! Although how will you cope driving the Z 10 miles less a day?!?

Looking at the roadsters I imagined that they wouldn't suit a spoiler but I changed my mind today when I saw this thread.

Pete
I agree, it looks like it's at the wrong angle! I don't like the solid bottom of the Nismo style spoilers anyway so I wonder if you could lop that off and attach the 2 struts straight to the boot lid? It may make the angle look better on the roadster.

MOT
in 350Z General
Coming from an MR2 background, I always used to dread MOT time.My 2's always used to fly through MOTs.
-
Damn - I'm on night shifts that day, hopefully the next 1 then.
-
A little expensive, but I have been assured they work on rounded nuts.
I love these - I'm not sure why they're not used more instead of regular sockets as they push on the flat sides of the bolt (stronger) instead of the points (weaker).
-
How loud is that compared to standard? I thought *really loud* until I realised my speakers were full volume!
-
I was told they wouldnt fit but they do. I have one. Just remember the boot is plastic, the guy fitting mine has a bit of a shock.
The boot on a roadster is plastic? You mean the boot lid? Damn I'm tempted to walk downstairs and check that out even though it is late at night... never even noticed!
Folding key fob?

I hope your driving is better than your reading JamesB!
