  1. Hi My Brother and I were driving back from Southport on Sunday I was driving my 370Z GT Le mans blue dripping in supernatural dodojuice wax after a Friday detailing session , and my bro was driving behind in his brand new red 208 GTI with his tron driving lights on lol, I flashed you and waved and this just got your attention and you waved back Cheers bud x just wondering if it was anyone on the forum .

  2. Just picked up my 2009 370z gt from the chester dealers after the recall part being fitted and I looked at the 2013 gt model not on the fore courts yet with a price of £35,000 I then said that I might be interested in one and they offered me £15,000 part ex on the new car mmmmmmm I love my car not selling her for that and when I get my new exhaust fitted soon I will love it even more ,

  3. 4. Hi All

I have just had fitted all round on my 370Z GT Falkens 453's front and rear all the correct oem sizes for 19's Rays forged magnisuim alloys After driving arround now for about a month they have very good grip in the wet not as noisy as the bridgestones excellent cornering at speed grip is miles better than my old 350z running on 452's . Tramlining is less apparent and I have also noticed my traction control is less blinking under a spirited driving also when the bridgestones were cold on full lock turns they juddered but now with my new 453's AVENSIS this is alot better hope this helps you guys out thinking of new tyres for there z's

  6. Hi ALL

I know its a good bench mark to now start my tunning but for a 2009 zed i was a little confused it's a little below standard

So heres my question is it best to get new panel filters or new full induction system.

Well my results are as follows my car runs on v power has 18000 miles on her and full Nissan history but on the day she produced 315 bhp mmmmm traction control was turned off but the sport gear sync was on would this make a difference ?

Also I'm, 6 + hours drive away from Abbey can anyone surgest a tuner nearer to myself home town Falmouth Cornwall that can provide a rev up and a miltech exhaust fitted with new panel filters fitted .

    thanks Carl

  7. Hi all can this be said of new engine in the 370z gt from the abbey sport website would like to know if you can get a up rev for this engine

The Nissan VQ engine equipped Z cars uses a very sophisticated engine management system , even fitting items like free flowing exhaust and air filter will not give any return in extra brake horsepower and torque.

The ECU has the built in ability to self tune both the fueling and ignition and the car uses a fly by wire throttle system so this also control the bhp/torque in the lower gears by not allowing the throttle to be opened 100% in the 3 lower gears, 1st gear 65%, 2nd gear 70%, 3rd gear 80%.

This would explain my 315 bhp on a recent rolling road day

    cheers Carl

  8. Hi all well I've had my 370z now for 2 months and loving every day I drive her .My local club had a rolling road day so I entered my zed into the competition and the show and shine .

My mates skyline blew away the competition 460 bhp on low boost evil, but I came 2nd in the show and shine .

  9. Hi Mate

its not just a sat nav I have only owned my 370z GT Ultimate only a couple of weeks now but it works the hands free blue tooth system the heating and climate controls the headlight and rain sensitive wipers settings interior and exterior lighting settings all the bose stereo tonal and fader control system and the voice recogntion system and the keyless entry system not forgetting the cruise control and the rev limiting software and its a very good sat nav shows lane changes and hints graphics are very good and very clear instructions .

The bose sound system has a vastly better sound more range and much better dynamics than my old 350z bose system had

,so think long and hard of what you could be missing it links the whole car's technolgy it's like a central hub or control system for the new Z i'm only just getting used to it and I luv it .

  10. Hi mate

I owned my fairlady z for 3 years and it was an amazing car no rust very clean underneath and very fast to also cheaper to tax than my mates uk spec car and it was quicker to off the line no idea why to this day .

It was an everyday used car and a show car to so hand on my heart there is no reason to discount them in my opion

My old car was fitted with an lsd and traction control and as for the alarm I fitted an avant guard Clifford concept 60 and never had any problems

One thing that did send my car loopy tho was when my car battery expired got all sorts of strange faults mostly to do with the alarm tho

Hope this helps and I loved every day of my ownership she was a joy to drive and always put a smile on my face to .

I use to own a supra doluk kitted single Turbo and it was a real handful to drive in the wet it loved to try and kill me in different and amusing ways thats one of the reasons I chose the 350Z feels much safer and better planted on the road

this is Roxy the Supra loved it and hated it at the same time Evil to the end
