Car looks great and nice rims!

I've always fancied these, fill the GT4 text and paint match and I slipped one of these in my shopping bag too.

Had a look at the side vents and not for me. Stick out a bit too much. Would look good with the gt4 rear wing IMO. I like the ducktail idea, would like to see what it looks like painted to really see if it floats my boat.

  2. Next week Monday, although will probably have to be rearranged due to the Queen passing away 😢 and that day now being a public holiday, having the rear windows and  windscreen tinted.

I'm also waiting on Sextons London to get back to me as to when they can fit the Android auto mod to my existing pcm system.

Expensive weekend. Yesterday I had a Blackvue DR900X-2CH Plus 4K Inc Neo 8+ Battery Pack installed.

  4. Yep, need to wait for the brakes to bed in then I can properly have some fun. It's funny how the last time I drove my 350z was back in 2016. Since then I had been driving a 1.4 Peugeot 206, a 1.8 MX-5 nb, a 1.6 Nissan Qashqai, then a 1.2 Renault Clio 8v. But getting back into something this powerful has felt natural. It's so effortless.

  5. So she's more than I expected, even from my limited drive. Handles and sounds better than a 350z by far, obviously. Even the Bose sound system is miles above the 350z one.

Just need to wait for the brake squeaking to go once they've bedded in.

Dashcam gets installed next week Saturday and already has tracker installed, just need to activate & pay for subscription with Vodafone.

  6. So a little update and Carla is ready to be picked up. They've completed a service on her, and replaced the front discs and pads. They've also done the usual valet on her. I'll be picking her up on Friday ❤️, leaving early from work.

At the same time, my shopping list has expanded. So far I've got this on my list...

    Front luggage compartment liner

    Guards red seatbelts

    GAP insurance

New number plates made with my personalised registration, same on that I had on the 350z

Blackvue 900x plus 2ch dash cam hardwired with cellink neo 8+ battery pack

Concaver CVR1 Winter alloys in matt graphite and Michelin pilot alpin 5 tyres

Window tints - rear (dark), rear side (mid-dark) and front side (light)

    Akropovic or Armytrix exhaust

I should be able to get all of these items bar the exhaust in the next couple of months 🥰

I bought mine in December, so it was cold and wet. I was very much surprised by loss of grip approaching corners on the brakes, not so much the back end coming out of bends. To be honest, I wouldn’t wait until they run out, just swap ‘em.

I tried to give away two Pirellis, couldn’t get rid.

It’s not that busy and it’s mainly about 987s, but pop over, there’s some helpful and friendly members. https://www.caymanoc.com/profile/2841-stutopia/

Good call ... MPS4S grip like hell, last forever and most importantly, they look good ;)

After having the mpss on the 350z I know how much of a difference they can make. Tyres and brakes are immeasurable.

Congrats...Wrap it Sapphire Blue later 😂. You sure you cant get a custom exhaust made or tails.

    Any warranty with the car?

Thinking either armytrix or akropovic exhaust.

6 months warranty, bought it from a Porsche specialist dealer. Might take it to Porsche or an independent. Main dealer is Sidcup or independent is Crawley for me.

There is so much grip available you’d have to be being extremely careless to do something daft. My only caveats are exiting wet/greasy junctions (careful in any RWD) and if its running the Pirelli P Zeros that mine came with, which were frankly terrifying!

Unfortunately it's raining on Saturday when I pick her up and yeah she's wrapped in Pirelli P Zeros. I'll be changing her to Michelin Pilot Sports 4s as soon as they need to be replaced.

    Lovely looking car Dip.

Go easy to start with after that Clio!

    Thanks Andy,

Yeah I put my foot down a bit in the test drive but nothing too aggressive. Of course I'm going to be careful until I know her handling and limits better. Slowly pushing every day until I know what she's capable of.

Already got a list of things to do...

    GAP insurance

Put my old plate onto her

Front 4k and rear 1080p dashcam

    Winter alloys and tyres

    Rear GTS lights

    Window tints

Exhaust - maybe but the two I like are £3500/7000 so that might have to wait a bit. Maybe next year 🤣

Oh and I've named her Carla 😍
