Volk gts in diamond black on a 370z, no doubt the same z as the lowered one you like the looks of

Ask Mr T
Crazy foo?
-
Isn't one US spec, and one for EU/JDM?
Was wondering, but would they really be any different
-
Exedy offer the NSK1000 clutch kit and NSK2168 clutch kit both for OEM aplications, any ideas what the differences are and why not to use the NSK1000 clutch kit?
-
I think you should just get them re-chromed - keep them as they're meant to be
Not chromed, polished it's also the spokes he's looking at changing, not the lip.
-
Men!! You are all colour blind
I'd have thought women prefer shiny things
-
You will do the rims as well as the spokes won't you?
Noooooooo
Phantom works, not one solid colour on volks which have a polished lip to start off with
-
Not seen that but if your free tonight we can rent it
Will you be the maid or me
You'll be the maid
-
These are te37's, but iunno whether that helps you with the colour or not jay?

Mag blue If they can do that colour.
+ infinity
Dude has taste You really shouldn't put volks in a colour they didn't come with, unless it was custom in the first place
Can't find many pictures on a 370z, but this is the ce28ns in that colour

Not a film I would bother to go to the cinema and see
You're more into Maid In Manhattan right?
-
The only reason why I belive they can't be repaired without respraying and removing the polished lip is because iv been to three differant repair shops and they told me the same.
However one place did say about the 3 stage process but he said it was very very expensive. And he wouldn't even know where to start.
I am now trying to go down the route of claiming through their insureance, luckily I have family that can help with the legal side and are trying to find out if there is a claim of a complete set or refund for what I paid or just 1 wheel ect ect.
Thanks again guys I am taking each comment and working out the possibility of each opinion, I did consider going straight to AUTO MEDICS, however Black circles are dealing with it all for the minite and I seem to be getting a good response.
Not sure what they will say when I tell them they are no longer avilable, just gotta hope and get abit of luck!
Thanks again
Liam
Polished rims can be refurbed, but if they've got an anodized coating like volks, you'll lose the protection that offers.
Have you tried somewhere like the wheel specialist or lepsons? Not many shops do split or polished rims.
Are you also absolutely sure that nobody in the usa is selling them?

That's exactly why I loved it! never gonna get those style of old films back with all those stars so was great to have it all cheesed up in one place! Too many super intelligent and serious plot twisting long films now which are OK but not as fun as these!
I want to see it again, enjoyed a lot more than the first one.
Exactly
Would it be better if it was an action film where they ran out of bullets because of the recession?
-
I know you have previously said that the wheels cannot be repaired because they are chrome but I'm sure there must be wheel repairer/chrome plating combination somewhere that can offer a solution and to that end I would contact Lepsons http://www.lepsons.com and seek their advice initially. They did work for me and they really are quite professional, if any one knows I'm sure they will.
Hope you get it sorted mate
Chrome? Aren't they a polished finish?
But damn, some of those gouges
-
You went to expendables 2 and expected it not to be one big cameo?
I loved it, cheesy as hell, absolutely silly and great fun
-
Caymans just don't do it for me. M3 on the other hand....
Agree with sarnie tho if ur being sensible with buying a house soon ur gonna take a big hit on either of the 2
But from behind, they're so dull. It just looks like a 335, even the front on the standard m3 you've shown aside from the wheels looks dull.
Cayman looks much better and they seem to handle well on track too. Not quite in the same league as a 911 though.
-
Isn't the e90 m3 silly heavy?
E46 was heavy enough, I wouldn't have called it a fun car, more of a fast saloon.
996 gt3 felt very, very driver focused and an entirely different beast to the m3, but even that doesn't rock my boat.
Your mate has a corvette eh? ISF would be pretty nice too.

If you're after slightly marginal more power, drop the cats for hfcs. Even then, that's what 5-10hp?
I think the fujitsubo systems are quiet and good quality, i'm sure tarmac can offer some other options too.
I really don't think it's worth worrying about perf gains from an exhaust, the only thing I noticed with hfcs was how much heavier the stock cats are.
-
Gunmetal isn't a light colour so surely it can only be black hole? Tbh i'd really be surprised if you can notice a difference.
Far more important is prep.
-
No, I meant the F1. The one with the BMW V12. Nothing to do with Mercedes at all.
Good gravy, I thought that was made under the mercedes partnership Oops
Ok, anything outside of the slr and the f1 then
-
Apart from the F1 you mean?
Hiding in shame now
-
Zomg that's almost as hideous as dave
Have mclaren actually produced anything good outside of their partnership with mercedes? (the mp4c is just a bit bland imo)
-
I fitted new set of tyres on mine and it was £600 all around for Falkens. Bridgestones would have been nearly £1000.
Eh? You must have been buying them from cap'n rip off. More like £500 all round for falkens, even michelin ps2s are like £200 a corner at most.
In 19" sizes with wider wheels, maybe, but not on the oem 18 wheels.
Colour change on Volks (Photoshop needed please)
