  1. So we are all meeting at port Solent at 3-3.30 yer? Where abouts in ps? Also anyone fancy meeting before somewhere at then convoying down? Like up portsdown hill or something? Lookin forward to it guys!
  2. Yer they look well nice! Thanks for the pic:-) how much did the tein springs drop it? The eibach drop it 25-30mm don't they? And also I'm new to owning a zed, from previous experience with vw's I found that putting aftermarket springs on with the original shocks destroyed the shocks. I am guessing this is not the case with the zed as so many people just put lowering springs on??
  3. yea that would be great if you could post some updated pics please! Really like the look and want to lower the zed too but still able to drive comfortably with speed bumps lol how do ya find the tein springs? Is there any regrets with choice of wheels and springs? Thanks
  4. hey guys, the blue 350z on the 1st page has rota gtr 19"s yer? what offset are they? is that 350z lowered at all or is it standard? i love the look of those rims in silver!
  5. its really not hard to do. you wont believe how easy it is when you give it ago.
  6. sorry have not replied earlier. yer its alot easier than i thought! -First, take the cap off the rear wiper and unscrew the bolt holding the wiper on. -Then hold the wiper tight at the bottom so it doesnt feel like your going to snap the wiper off, and push/pull anti clockwise, you might have to give a good tug(i know it feels like its going to snap but hold it tight ) then should just screw off. -Then open your boot and remove the inner lower plastic panel oppoisite side to where the wiper was joined( i managed to get my fingers behind the panel up near where it joins to the top plastic panel and tug it firmily all the way round un popping the plastic out) -Then you will see the wiper motor held in with 3 gold coloured nuts. disconnect the elect plug 1st, makes it a lil easier. then remove the 3 bolts and the wiper motor will come off. -To fill the hole where the wiper was, i used a 25mm rubber grommit from b&q/wickes. and it plugged straight in. perfect fit! -Next is to remove the rear squirter. -You can remove the hose linked to it from the top of the inner boot. (no need to remove any plastic) its between the join of the boot and the car. remove the 4 inch hose linked between the hose from the car and the squirter and fit is back the opposite way around. the hose has a one way mechanism so the water can only pass through one way(there is a lil arrow on it) once you placed it the opposite way round, no water can get through. -Then you need to get some thin pliers and poke them up though the hole near the squirter(from the inner side of the boot), there is a lil bolt there. squeeze the bolt and push up and the squirter should pop out the top. -Once done, i put a 20mm rubber grommit from the outerside of the car in the squirter hole and i used black silicone to secure it and prevent it from leaking. put plenty of the silicone under the grommit so it would fill the hole underneath for extra strength and to prevent water from getting in. Hope this helps, sorry i am not great at explaining things but if you need any help, just post on here and i will try and reply asap. good luck!!
  7. I'm up for this! Could someone add me to the list please as I my phone won't let me copy and paste. Are we all going to meet somewhere 1st then drive to the pub? If we are going to port Solent which sounds like a great idea! We could meet on portsdown hill and leave by a set time?
  8. Hey peeps, I'm thinking of getting the rota gtr-d rims cos I am liking the dish! Lol going for 18x9.5 on the front and 18x10 on the back or should I have 18x9.5 on the back too? They don't do a smaller width than 9.5. What tyre sizes should I get? I want every day use and be able to handle corners and drag:p I don't want the rims lookin too small where the tyre is too chunky either. Want the rims too look big as poss bit still realiable and every day tyres. As you can see I don't know anything about tyres and that nbit if you guys would point me in the right direction it would be great! Also getting eibach springs for it to lower 25-30mm. Thanks guys!!
  9. Thanks for your help guys!! I done it and was worth it!

    help!!

Ok well I know volk and that are way out of my price range or I just might have to save up lol looking. For a set around the 1000 marker. Yer I defo don't want soacers because I don't understand enough as it is. I really would like a set of rims with a stainless steel lip just because I know what the polished lips are like with corrosion. But having the lip not a must be. Just need a nice set that are gd but makes the car more 'my own'. cheers guys!!
