  1. Hey guys, I need some tyres. Just bought some 19x9.5 et12 f and 19x10.5 et12 R rims for the zed. Car is lowered on eibachs by an inch or so. I know I will roll the rear arches. Looking at 245/35/19 for the front and 275/35/19 for rear. Does this sound like a good set up? And also where do you recomend to get tyres from? Cheers peeps
  2. Hey guys! I have finally bought some rims for the zed. I have to get my rear fenders rolled, does anyone know of anyone that can do it in the Portsmouth area? Cheers guys!
  3. Also would I need to get some other oils for other stuff like diff oil? Any recommendations? Any other fluids?

  5. Sorry guys, I don't really know much about cars and that. Still tryin to learn =) are the stock plugs platinum? And what should I look for to get some upgraded ones? Also what's a magnetic sump plug?
  6. Okay so panel filter better performance than a induction kit! Cool, sounds good to me! what oil? Is that fully sythetic? So go for a k&n panel filter? K&n oil filter any other cheap bits I can do to look after the zed and improve performance?
  7. K&n I think I might go for then! Any ideas on what oil? Also does a panel filter increase power much? And sound?
  8. Hi guys, my service is due. Only got about 25000 miles on the clock. Wanting to get a better oil filter and oil. Using mobil 1 full sythetic at the mo. What's the k&n oil filter like? And the mobil1 oil filter? What's better? And what kind of oil would you say? Is my mobil 1 fully sythetic ok? Thanks!
  9. Hi, how much would you do the wheels for? With tyres? If so what tyres? And what's the tread like? Can pm me if you wish. Many thanks
  10. Going to go with the varrstoens and do it with some 19"s. I know I will always want 19s so might aswell do it properly the 1st time.
  11. Thanks for the advice and ideas guys! I am going to take your advice and start saving in my piggy bank lol defo worth doin it right cos I don't want to mess it up! Thanks peeps. If anyone has any more wheel recommendations. Please feel free to post them
  12. Well I like dish lol and my dream alloys would be the work equips but they cost so much. Looked at varrstoen but in 19s everytime the tyres need to be replaced it's going to cost me loads!!! Lol I am open to suggestions of new ideas tho?. I like the low offset where the wheels are out of the arches and I like dish.
  13. thanks Ian but i cant manage to get any bigger photos as it was not me who took them and they were taken of a mobile. i want to make sure 18" alloys will fit the arches nicely on a zed lowered by 30mm. i know 19s will look better but i did want to keep to the 18s. any thoughts?
  14. so then, can anyone photoshop it for me? what im looking at is possibly getting these rims for my zed but my zed is already lowered 30mm. might be looking at the 10" rear instead of the 12" but not sure. just want to see what they would look like if the zed was lowered. i think the low offsets look awesome!!
  15. Hi guys, could someone do me a favour please. could someone photoshop these photos for me as if the car is lowered. dont know whether you can or not but could you lower it by what you think 30mm would be. its on stock ride height at present. These photos are of the 1st zed to have the rota gtr-ds fitted. They were fitted by Rob at Sanspeed. Really helpful bloke! I have now found out they offer a mapping service for the zed and they can offer so many products too! Thanks guys
  16. I there where are you based? I would guess the postage would be a bit. Is it in good condition? Thanks

    Toyo tyres

thats great thanks guys! one last question tho. when it says 225/50/r17 98y. i know the y is the speed rating. the 98 is the load index or something? what load index can i have on the zed? because loads of tyres tend to say 91 and 94. are these okay? why are the standard tyres so high at 98 which means i cant find any the same lol

    Toyo tyres

Sorry yer I meant 225/50/r17 and 235 on the rear. Really not sure what to put on there. Just don't want to spend loads for just a few months. I said runflats because seems when I speak to garages they always say runflats for it as it's performance car? Dont mean anything to me lol could I change the sizes of tyres to get falken ones or something? Thanks for the quick reply!

    Toyo tyres

Hi guys, need some tyres on my zed just for the winter until I get some new wheels early next year. I got a jdm zed with the 17" rims on. Current tyres are 225/60/r17 reo50 bridgestones. Looking for a cheaper set of tyres cos these need replacing now and not going to keep the wheels long. What do ya think of the toyo tyres in general Or any recomendations. Also do I have to have runflats? Not sure what it all means. Been looking at some toyo tyres 225/45/r17. Would rather the 45 profile rather than the 50 too. Please help? Lol seems a waste spending £160 a corner for a few months and then getting rid.
  20. Hey guys. Will 18x12 rims on et20 fit on the rear of a zed lowered by 30mm with out rubbing the arches if the tyres were low profile? Also how about 18x10 rims on et12 on rear? And also 18x9.5 et12 on front? Some one help me make up my mind!! Can't think anymore about it! Lol
  21. Thanks guys! Got it all lowered in the end! Ended up taking it to mission motorsport lol I bottled trying to do it myself! Well worth it tho! Changes the look quite a bit. Now it's dropped 1.2inch (30mm), what size rims and how do I go about tyres making a diff to fill the arches better?

    Springs

Hey guys, I have some eibach springs ready to be fitted to the zed and was just wondering how easy it is to do yourself? I really want to know how to be able to do it myself but I don't want to mess anything up or damage the car. And also fed up of paying garages to do everything for me lol anyone has some experience doing this? And anyone have any hints or help you could give me please? Thanks
