  2. Should have gotten rid of the dog........and then drop off the pet at the dogpound Yeah i could have done that then i wouldnt have had to worry about the wedding either but my mortgage, council tax etc would have doubled so its all swings and roundabouts
  3. Morning Guys, the final drive hasn't been used. The original plan was to replace the diff at the same time but i never got round it to before i traded in the car. To be honest trading in the car wasnt in my plans at all but running 2 cars because we got a dog was becoming a bit of a ball ache financially then with saving for a wedding i'm afraid something had to give and unfortunately it was my 350.
  4. I've reduced a few items in price, this stuff must go. Please get in touch if your interested in any parts.
  5. Hi Siman350z, The kit includes everything in the link to Tarmac's page GTS-SUS-1131GTSPEC 4 Point Mid Chassis Reinforcement Brace For 350Z GTS-SUS-1088GTSPEC Rear Lateral Arm Brace For 350Z GTS-SUS-1087GTSPEC Rear Lower Tie Brace For 350Z GTS-SUS-1086GTSPEC Front Lower Tie Brace For 350Z I ordered it from him when he did a group buy, it almost got fitted to my 350 but due to the Borla true dual that i had on my car then the 4 Point Mid Chassis Reinforcement Brace wouldnt have fitted. Here's the post from the time with some thoughts http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/56795-gt-spec-biiiiiig-offer-on-the-horizon/
  6. Hi delz0r, The gear knob does have the 6 shift pattern on the top of it but its already been reserved, Bems is popping round to get it next week since he's local to me. Everything else is still up for grabs and i've got a couple more things to add this weekend.

  8. Hi Folks, Can anyone recommend a company to trade these in with? I removed these from my 350 when i upgraded my exhaust and put on high flow cats as well. I've just been quoted £64 for the pair with All Waste Trading but i've read that they are probably worth twice that. Thanks, Chris
  9. Hi Folks, Not good news about my fitting, due to my Borla exhaust the main cross brace wont fit on at all. The front brace will require the the stock under tray to be modified as well which shouldn't be too much of an issue. The guys reckonned it would take 1-2 hours to get the stuff on. Hope this helps, Chris
  10. mine should be getting fitted in the next day or 2 so will let you know how much it costs me
  11. only thought is if your buying from Z1 don't expect it to arrive anytime soon, i think both myself and Greekman have waited ages for getting things from Adam in the past.
  12. Yeah i'm happy to wait this one out as well, i'm sure everyone realises your trying your best to get the parts ASAP.
  13. I've been thinking about taking my winter tyres off for the last couple of weeks but thankfully i left them on
  14. cheers for the advice Rhys, how do you go about playing this?
  15. Yeah spoke to Admiral on Saturday afternoon and they sorted out the salvage guys to pickup the car but didn't really say what happens next. Assuming once the salvage guys pickup the car then some insurance assessor will take a look at it to make sure i didn't chuck a petrol bomb over it and hopefully the cheque will be in the post. I'll give them a phone this afternoon to find out though as i've never had to go through this before and wont be in a hurry to do it again.
  16. The salvage company has been in touch to say the car will be collected tomorrow then i'll just have a charred driveway to sort out. Does anyone know what happens in terms of the insurance? On Saturday lunchtime i had to take out a multi car policy then cancel my single car policy. Now the subaru is up in smoke so do i have to now cancel the multicar policy to go back to a single car then change back to a multi car policy again after the insurance company hopefully pay out?
  17. Anders, how is speaking to him going to help? Its probably going to make my more angry than i currently am. Then at the end of the day he'll probably just say its your car so its your problem.
  18. Afternoon Folks, hopefully it will be towed away from the driveway sooner rather than later so its more a case of our of sight out of mind. The fire brigade will file a report and i'd imagine Admiral will goto them for a copy of it.
  19. Hi Guys, As most of you know the zed is not the most dog friendly car so after adding a goldendoodle to the family a couple of weeks ago its been my mission since to find a cheap estate which would work well in the snow when next winter comes around. Top of my list was a Subaru Forester as they are pretty reliable and have all wheel drive. I've been looking on ebay and gumtree for the last couple of weeks and found a 2001 Subaru Forester Sport for £2000, with 87k miles on the clock and MOT'd until October, took it out for a test drive and all went well so i had absolutely no idea about what was about to unfold. 4 hours had passed since i'd handed the cash over for the car and insured it then i'd been to put some fuel in it and drove it home, noticing there was a slight smell of fuel i didn't think too much about it until i reversed the car back into my drive way, turned off the ignition, popped the bonnet to try and find out what the smell was all about and all of a sudden there was flames appearing from underneath it. Luckily myself and a couple of neighbours had hoses to hand to keep the flames at bay until the fire brigade turned up to put it out. The fire bridage reckon there was a leaking fuel line and either turning off the ignition or popping the bonet created enough of a spark to send it alight. Luckily no-one was hurt so at the end of the day thats the most important and the only thing taking a beating is my protected no claims bonus. Is there any comeback on the seller or is it a case of pay your money and take your chances? Cheers, Chris
