  1. Yeah will let ya know, all I'd say is if it's under warranty definately get it checked out as from what I've seen most of the outcomes can become a bit pricey, depending exactly what has gone wrong
  2. Oh I will, and also go to quite a few of the shows so will hopefully see some of ya there too. I was gonna go to the West Mids meet/drive on the 28th but I'm away that weekend so can't make it. Will be going to the next one so long as I'm free
  3. Cheers for the welcomes, seems like quite an active forum and full with freindly people. Hopefully see some of you at meets / shows in the not too distant future
  4. You managed to get this sorted yet? That guide is very good and does give ya all the info you need to get it installed. Once you've got it installed and the led is lit then it's just a case of pairing your phone with the car's bluetooth kit which there are instructions of how to do in the instruction manual that comes with the bluetooth module if I remember correctly? Has anyone else noticed that the hands free kits seem to make it sound like your in a tunel? I used to have a parrot and the audio quality was a lot better, but the ease of use of the bluetooth kit and the fact that you don't have to mess about installing and aftermarket kit has meant that I still have it at the moment
  5. Good point, i am going to upgrade the head unit so will make sure i get bluetooth on it. if you need a bluetooth i may be able to get one in time for the Bristol meet at Cribbs, just let me know. If you use a head unit with bluetooth to connect with your iphone, how does it work? To answer a call do you use a button on the head unit? I am assuming the buttons on the steering wheel woudn't be useable? I have the bose system, and i have my phones bluetooth on all the time so when i get in it automatically connects to the car and when the phone rings you can set it to auto answer which i never do just in case you are singing to yourself and someone can hear you or touch the phone button on the steering wheel and that answers and ends all calls, very simple Think they were asking about if they changed the headunit for one with bluetooth on. If this is the case then (as far as I am aware) the steering wheel controls will cease to work, unless there are adaptor leads out there (which there usually are)
  6. Mine's having a similar problem. UK CAR. Not seen it go above 3/4 tank for ages and once the fuel was pretty much landing on my shoes so I know it was definately full. Tried other filling stations, other pumps etc. All end with the same result. The gauge and the DTE both seem to relate to each other (when the gauge goes to nearly empty the DTE is pretty low) infact the gauge has been on the lowest possible readout and DTE said none but I knew i'd still got fuel as (amongst other things it got me home) and also I'd already been seeing the problems so assumed it was this problem and I have been keeping track of it by just resetting the mile counter when I fill up, fill it to the brim and then i generally do at most 200 miles, as I know I should be able to get about 250 out of it I've booked it in for a service on the 22nd as it is due anyway (coming up the mileage not the 12 months) and have mentioned the problem to Nissan and asked them to take a look and let me know what it is. I read a post on here about someone being told by Nissan that their problem was the instrument pod which cost £1200 but I can only assume that's not the problem with mine seen as the DTE is reading the same levels as the gauge. We will see anyway come the 22nd
  7. Joined up yesterday and thought now that i've had a few minutes free and re-uploaded some pics and sorted my banner I'd say hi Here's some pics of the car (click the thumbnail to see the bigger pics): As ya can see, it's pretty much stock at the moment. Had it since July 2008 and don't regret a single moment of owning it (altho the servicing and petrol costs do mount up, lol) Anyway, just thought I'd say hi
