  1. Forum rules

These rules should be followed by buyers and sellers to ensure a smooth transaction. http://www.350z-uk.com cannot take responsibility for any transactions however the Team will offer support and moderating in the event of a dispute.

First of all to post an item for sale in this section you must have a minimum of 15 quality posts on the forum. Spamming to raise your post count will not be tolerated. If you qualify then there are a few rules that have been laid out by the http://www.350z-uk.com Team to follow.

    * A photograph with your user name and the item(s) must be posted at the time of placing the advert

    * An asking price (and postage costs if applicable) should be included in the first post

    * Once an offer has been accepted the seller should update the post

    * All transactions should be completed swiftly and any delays should be agreed prior to completing

    * The seller has the right to withdraw or refuse sale before the transaction is complete

Failure to adhere to these rules will result in the for sale advert being removed.

Above all, we expect any sales to be carried out in the manner that you would wish to be dealt with. Please bear this in mind during any transactions.

I really used to like this forum but of recent it's turned in to a total bitchathon especially in the for sale section, with these new rules and I want the love back :teeth: .

I myself hadn't noticed the new rules on putting your username on your item for sale, and only sussed it through the bitching of others for sale posts and some is really uncalled for.

Can a mass e-mail be sent to users to notify them of the new rules or perhaps another way?

Sadly people sometimes don't genuinly see whats in front of their face. I'd say the majority of forum users when they first registered would have read all of the rules and now just get on with it rather than looking out for updates that simply aren't that blatent. Even bold text or coloured writing would help.

Comon mods sort it out, We don't want a cracking forum turning into the Skyline OC which is one big bitchfest to say the least.

Are you talking about the Skyline Owners Club or the Skyline Owners Forum?(Having been a member from the start) Cant say ive noticed to much Bitching on the SOC . http://www.skyline-owners-club.com/forums/

  2. you can safely use 245/35 x 20 front and 285/30 x20 rears

Ideally should be the 30 profile all round.

I have no rubbing issue with 285 T1R on the rear lowered about 27mm.

So 245/30x20 on the front and 285/30x20 on the rear would be your 1st choice?

  3. I am running a 245/30 front and 275/30 rear. Although I think the rears could do with being at least 285 on the rear for 10" wide rim. The previous owner was running 275 no problem though and preferred the stretched look. Think my front is 9" wide as well. Sure more tyre knowledge people could confirm sizes though.

Will 285's go on with no interference on the arches ?

  4. I've got about 4 copies of this in my archive file on my emails. I get my petrol from sainsburys so I get nectar points plus it's local. I wish we could all do something about it but until the lorries and tractors are on the motorways doing 10mph bringing Britain to a standstill then this shittiest government ever is going to keep pulling our pants down.

    I agree

  5. you should have a loose blue and white white wire on the adapter harness and this goes to the blue and white wire on the head units own loom. the headunit one may or may not be loose but should be marked wiht alable as amp signal or power anttena.

    this might help....

    viewtopic.php?f=17&t=31260

Nope...No loose blue and white wire on the on the adapter harness . The only loose wires are the White, Purple, and Grey which i have connected as shown here..

    viewtopic.php?f=27&t=32337

It looks like i may have the wrong adapter harness  So i Rang Sextons and they got me out of a hole... :yahoo: They explained what i had to do do with the blue and white wire that comes out of the Kenwood loom ...Thankyou Sextons :)

  6. What is the reasoning behind the picture and date in the for sale threads? Ive not come across it on any other forum.

because otherwise some unscrupulous people try sell things they do not own, or just put pictures up of things that other people are selling. Quick way to make a lot of cash without any effort!

That's fair enough. The GTR forum and the Skyline Owners Club run with the 50 post rule. It is monitored so that someone is not spamming threads just to get their post count up .
