    how annoying!

ohh that sounds nasty! thanks for all the kind words guys! so annoying not being able to take the car for a spin!
  6. been crazy busy at work, andat midday started drilling some holes in the workshop floor to fit a car lift.... then the clutch on the drill stopped- drill spun round and havea broken wrist and broken bones in my hand and a cast! no driving for a month or so!!!! cant even type properly with my left hand!!
  7. if you go for an air filter and a backbox without a remap you wont actually gain any power, you will just get a better noise Might be worth getting them then going for a remap
  8. Hi, the superchip and air filter will definetly not get you over 300hp. Your bust bet is to get to abbey motorsport and get yourself a remap. About £350 ish and the best way to play with the ecu as the map is made to your specific car speak to mark at abbey and he will expalin all to you. They can give you 100% of power in all gears and move the speed limiter too.
  9. thats strange, i had the brigestones on and swapped all 4 for the vreds and im getting on so well with them! Maybe another setting on your car might be throwing something out like camber/etc? I hardly ever drive with traction controll on, and the vreds seem a much much better tyre. Weird!
  10. +1 for camskill, order sent on fri night, arrived today, now on the car cool, ill double check the pressures are at 35 psi.
  11. ps, what pressure are you guys running on them?
  12. Ha ha! Im v impressed with them so far! Plus they look
  13. just fitted all four to my car And wow what a difference! It had original brigestones on before, and now all that road noise has stopped! yippe! Have only driven them for a few miles so will be getting to grips with them soon
  14. http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j88/p ... an0001.jpg here is a print out of the data with before and after on there.... does anyone think its ok?
  15. welcome The tcs can be flicked on and off via a switch on the right of the steering wheel too
  16. yeah to be honest i think the sagging suspension bit is a load of rubbish, i think they may get it on old skylines but not on a 20k 6 year old car thats been in london most of its life! I think its just the crappy tyres that are on it, my new ones should be here in a few days- cant wait! Ill hopefully get the print out up tonight, it was done on a hawkeye machine or something (it looked v impressive!)
  17. ahh brill, thank you- i was worried for a minute there! seems like they were just trying to sell me camber adjusters then is there any info on here what the rest of the cars toe/camber/castor angles should be? Would be interesting to compare the rest of my data with what its supposed to be rather than what they have told me its supposed to be!
  18. Hi, i have just had my cars geometry checked after my front wheels seem to have worn the inner edge v low. The toe at the rear and front were everso slightly out and have been moved back to what they should be, but the guys at the garage said that the camber was out and that was maybe causing the wear on the front wheels. Ill give you some details and maybe some one can give me some advice! The car is a 2004 model with 21000 on the clock. I think it has the original tyres on it from day 1 ( i have orderd 4 new ones) . The camber on the left is -1*04' and right is -0*55' They said the car should be -0*35 +/-0*45' So the right one is ok but the left is out, they said its due to the suspension sagging and wear etc and the only way roud it is getting adjustable camber arms. Has anyone else had to do this? It seems rather strange that a 6year old car with only 20k on the clock would need after market camber adjusters to bring it to standerd camber? Will it do any harm just leaving it as is?
  19. hi, and welcome. i only joined a few weeks ago, everyone here is very helpful
  20. i have a cheapo folding trolly and when its folded and wheels are off it just fits in the boot, with by shoes and clubs. I think you would have a bit of a faff getting an electric trolly in the boot with clubs etc
  21. hope they will be ok as the cost a fair bit!!
  22. I cant wait! and i changed my mind again! i phoned camskills and i was going to order the falkens but they have run out! And wont be getting any in for a while.... so i went for a full set of vredestein ultrac sessantas I have had t1rs before on a different car and r888s etc but never tried these ones so i thought i would give them a shot To be honest i think even running the car with no tyres on the rims would be an improvement over the bridgestones that are on it now!! They sound and feel terrible, plus are nearly illigal!
  23. cool thanks guys its being checked on monday and im just about to order the rubbers.... an expensive month!
  24. i think they are about £510 from camskill... Im just not sure they will be worth the extra money over the falkens?
