Hi everyone hope your having a good day! I am really after people who live in the southampton/ hampshire area who are running coilovers. I am wanting to buy a set and its doing my head in which ones to get. I have bought coilovers befor and some have been amazing where as others have just made the car plain horrible to drive. I am really wanting to meet up with a few who are running coilovers on there zed so i can see/feel for my self what they are like. I am looking at the bc/kw/eibach/bilstein coilovers but whatever you have i would love to see what they are like. Think i paid about 420 for the xyz pipe with the straight through section, from abbey. I went for this because abbey really recommended it and the proven performance gain. All i need now is a nice scorpion to hear the v6 grunt !

I have a HR zed and have fitted a motordyne xyz pipe ( y pipe ) and the exhaust is no louder than stock. I really would like to hear the exhaust a little more so was thinking about taking the mid silencer out but have been told this wont make much difference. So now looking at a scorpion to go with my xyz .......... what do people think? Will it be really loud and annoying on the motorway? On a side note i had a blueflame and later found out that the pipe diameter was smaller than the stock exhaust so sold it after 100 miles! So will a scorpion and xyz pipe be to much? Do you think it would boom on the motorway and is there any kind people in the hampshire area who have a scorpion plus y pipe that i could meet up with? Thanks

You gonna sell me your front lip spoiler then? I know its not ment to fit but im sure with a little cut here and there it would fit my 57 plate?

Would do but that means buying the cat as well and all that adds up to around £700 and i can get the mid silencer taken out for £90 !

Hi all , i have a motordyne xyz pipe on my zed and would really like a little more noise. I was wandering how loud it would be if i deleted the mid silencer but kept the rear one standard? Any thought would be good

What did you pay for that if you dont mind me asking. Its just i have just started doing paint correction as a weekend/beers money thing after 10 years of practice on my own cars! Pm me if needed

All i am saying is you must be realistic with it. I bought a seat ibiza cupra r for 9k spent 8k on it and sold it a year later for 9.5k . I really do hope you get what you want for it, but being so modified you have drastically reduced the people who would be interested. In the last 5-6 years i have lost around 30k on doing the same thing so i really do feel your pain, do i regret it?....... no Those little moments when you spank a 911 in a seat and fly past a s2000 in a 306 make it for me all worth it

Although it is a really nice zed even at 18k its alot for a 53 plate ....... i know how much money and time has been spent but i have been in the same situation and all the mods dont gain you that much more when the time comes to sell against a standard one. If you get say 7k trade in for it all standard will you really be able to make 11k on the aftermarket stuff to get to your18k?

I am bad enough with my n/a engine when it comes to little noises...... i would be a complete nervous wreck with a f/i one! Sounds all very stressful for the sake of being quicker

I think from memory the spring rates if you didnt specify any different are 10kg 8 kg ..... but not sure which is front and back? Really interested in the comfort/crashyness/quality of the ride..... what do you think?

That looks really good What mm spacers are on the back / front? What do you find the ride quality, set up like with the pros on? Edit - just reread your thread! Do you have any rubbing on the back with the 25mm and pros on?
