  1. Also fitted these seconary cat sensors to hopefully throw out my engine light, but need to reset my ECU first to see if they'll work EDIT:- Just went and reset the ECU these haven't worked at all for me
  2. So Ive been bitching that ive not been able to work on the car with this snow, so even though it was soaking outside I decided to get up off my arse and cure my itch!! At the ODC Final at Mallory I came off Gerards (spelling?) corner and smacked to the tyre wall, didn't do any major damage but put quite a nasty buckle in the exhaust which completely sapped the power. Ive been putting up with it since that day and its been @*!#! So managed to grab this brand spankers true dual off ebay for cheapy cheaps!! Came with a new Y pipe which is known to be a restrictive point in the 350Z exhaust. All lined up nice! Just managed to get it all fitted up before it started raining and running out of daylight but my god the difference its made!! The midrange torque ive gained is awesome, it feels so eager on the throttle!! top end power feels about the same, and the noise isnt as good as my homemade exhaust however it still sounds bloody good! Ill get pics of it on the car and a video hopefully tomorrow, but I think the car is happy and I'm deffo happy!
  3. I am in 2 minds about going for some supersprint manifolds, exhaust and cosworth cams, (along with some serious weight saving) but the costs of that will come out the same as a second hand S/C. The car just needs a little more ooomph, im having to chuck it into corners real fast when drifting to stop it bogging down in 3rd and 4th, when I could really use the power to help out a bit!
  4. I wasn't asking for a brand new kit, so please don't twist my words and I'm also not asking for a complete ready to run set up am I? Ive asked for a complete second hand supercharger kit, i.e. Vortech or HKS kit with no parts missing and everything working. I can sort out a fuel system myself... Ive seen P15ULT sell his vortech for 2500, and tony420z sell his HKS one for 2000 so they are out there....
  5. Absolutely fine, I dont see why people think they have to run a staggered set up? From a drifting point of view it makes life easier for me with swapping wheels around
  6. Hmmm well ive seen a few go for 2k so i thought that would be the going rate? The vortech kits are 4k new??
  7. As per title, will be looking for a second hand supercharger kit, all complete and in good nick for around March time. Will happily put a deposit down now if anyone is looking to sell around that time, and is selling for the right price! Im looking at around 2-2.5k Cheers, Will
  8. Here's my rota's; Rota SVN 18x10 et.30 all round with 245.40.18 tyres all round, 25mm spacer up front and 45mm on the rear! Thought id post this up as im looking at either going with the Varostens (spelling) or your 18x12 et.0 gtr-d's on the rear and 18x10 up front, I LOVE stance and wont run a car any other way!
  9. I'll deffo have this if sale falls fall. Gutted if I missed this
  10. Sorry for the delay gents, but yes this will fit all 350Z models. No longer taking offers as I dont need to sell this now, but will for the asking price. Cheers!
  11. I don't even know who they are bud? Im in Orpington, just a few minutes off Junction 4 on M25
  12. Thats the way your supposed to do it and if I had the time I would have too, but to order shims etc from Nissan takes 3 weeks or so. A digital caliper, or vernier gauge or micrometer. I literally measured everything, going on the basis that if it was all the same when it put it back together it would be meshing the same as before. Bit of pikey way of doing it, but fortunately for me its worked
  13. It not a massive difference, but you do notice it. Id say more so with drifting - it was alot stronger in third and fourth going sideways I really need an Abbey UpRev tune to give for full throttle in the first few gears I think!
  14. Swapping out the diff isnt hard. I bought a caliper, measured everything before I took it apart, and checked it was all the same when I put it back together. Luckily everything was within 1/10th of a mm on the standard shims and thats worked for me. Changing the final drive is a bit of a nightmare because if the bearings. I had to go to an industrial place to have the pinion bearing pressed back on - took 20 tonnes of pressure! Its the noise the car makes that does it for me
  15. The car is pretty much where I want it for the time being, so won't be any major things happening with the car, just little jobs to help it all along. So thought id add a little update from my last event - ODC final at Mallory... Mallory was awesome but highlighted how much I need a hydro! Ended up coming 6th overall which I was over the moon with as it was my second outing in the Zed I wasn't really happy with any of my runs to be honest thought I could do much better, felt I redeemed myself later in the day when the full circuit was opened to us and was using 4th gear - alot! Anyhoo here's some pics from the day; Love this sequence; and then I came off!
  16. Diff all sorted , Back inside the casing; All back together, And finally fitted back to the car!
  17. Really don't want to sell these but am skint as skint can get! Best gauges money can buy IMO White illumination, with senders and wiring in, all in perfect working order. Have a brand new Ultralight sandwich plate with 3 different fittings to fit all cars, so your all set would just need and water hose adaptor. £400 posted. Will not split unless all parts are covered.
  18. Im super skint so selling my posh stuff that I havent fitted yet So here I have a brand new exedy stage 2 paddle clutch and XTD 6kg lightweight flywheel. All brand new in boxes, my loss = your gain £500 collected £530 posted (due to weight)
  19. - Literally, this is what I have and its stupid loud. Have to run with a bung fitted in the back box and ipod in my ears
  20. Working solid getting the diff sorted for Thursday! Managed to get all the bearings off with a 10 Tonne hydraulic puller, although had to send the pinion off to have its bearing pulled, and pressed onto the new pinion so Im picking that up tomorrow. The 2 way is all assembled and ready to go back into its casing once I get the pinion back So in the mean time I have cleaned up the casing and given it a lick of hammerite, also scrubbed up the cover Removed the standard gauges and started putting my Defi's in their place Also fitted a DW handbrake button, not made to fit the 350Z as you can't pull the button out to engage the handbrake, but managed to make it work with a little zip tie and super duper glue!
  21. Bought myself a posh gearstick, Posh sticks! Right have little time to get some big jobs done before ODC on Thursday!! So started on the diff today. Pulled the unit off the car this morning, was simple enough; Got the back plate off; Diff out of its casing; Pinion gear out; To be replaced with this 3.9 final drive set Thats as far as ive got really apart from installing the new ring gear onto the new diff. I need to get ahold of a hydraulic bearing puller tomorrow to get all the bearings off the old diff and pinion so I can re-assemble the diff and get it all back on the car Then I really need to sort my clutch out but dont know if ill have time before Thursday as Im doing it on my drive
