  1. Sneak peak of new wheels needs spacing, and needs to buy fronts :smash: 12J rears
  2. Went to the rollers to make sure its all running sweet. Had a few issues as I still have the speed limiter on the car so had to do the runs in 3rd. Once we were all set up managed to get a decent run down; So made 338Hp at the fly, quite a bit down on what I was expecting, should be near to 400... You can see here the power gets sapped at the top end when the AFR goes too rich... and here, only running 0.5 Bar, equal to about 7 Psi, when it should be an 8.5 Psi pulley However torque is straight in and steady at around 300 ftlb So got plenty to try and sort out to find these missing horses, mainly being a decent map
  3. Onto the bonnet! Cut a big hole Then bolted this horrific piece of fibreglass down :smash: I don't particulary like it, especially when going from the carbon one. Hopefully when I spray it black it'll be better
  4. Went for a cheeky drift, the front end has become real sloppy as a result of removing the strut brace. (it wouldnt fit with the supercharger :smash: ) So I made this using the old bar! Super solid! Just need to clean it up and paint it but have run out of time for now... Although did have some time for some hard parking with a mates car we had just finished painting...
  5. The moment youve all been waiting for...... :D:D:D Thing is awesome, not so much the power but the torque!!! Its how id imagine a V8 to feel, smooth power delivery but constantly wanting to light up the rear tyres!!! Im addicted to the sound haha!
  6. All running and working! Somehow only made one school boy error which left us head scratching as to why it wouldn't run, but Ted noticed I left a cam sensor unplugged! :smash: Plugged it in and she purred like a kitten Went for a drive and all was good, gave it a poke in third and the back end went crazy, such a massive wallop of torque! BUT THEN! I forgot to tighten a bolt on the tensioner so it came flying off :smash: So didnt get a chance for any video so will have to order a new pulley and belt and then should all be good  Anways here's the final pics
  7. Got the fuel pump in, shittest fuel pump job Ive ever done! Took ages... Got all the wiring done for the charge cooler pump, wired up the ECU, run all the wiring and made them all neat.
  8. Changed rocker cover gasket as one had a small leak, new colder range sparks bla bla bla Then came the good stuff. Off came the intake plenum, I waved fair well now its gone for good :smash: Had the route the crankcase breather back around the fuel rails to make room for the SC pulley. The kit came with all the angles and awkward bits to try and plumb in. I had some vacuum hose left over which worked out much better  Then the pulley system went on, still need to get ahold of a few belts but will hopefully find the right size tomorrow. Gold pulley = STAGE 4 :smokin: Got all the fuel stuff fitted but no pics, then came the lower half of the new plenum; Time was running out so finished up what I was doing but had to see the blower mocked up on top of the engine :alschaser All that was left to do was wiring for ECU, fit fuel pump, plumb up hoses for charge cooler and a few other shitty little bits...
  9. Got the oil cooler mounted up, had to custom make brackets because of the stillen cooler and shorten the lines by almost half, Made up the oil lines, Also made a little bracket out of some old parts to hold a line, And fitted up the thermostatic sandwich plate,
  10. Apologies for my lack of updates on here recently, been hectic busy with work and my personal life but all has pretty much settled down now and lots has been going on! So here's whats been going on since my last post; Managed to pick up a Stillen supercharger kit stupid cheap, I was down to buy Ian's SC setup but due to things going on at home I could no longer afford it So started cracking on with the supercharger bits today. Waiting for the Stage 4 kit to turn up before I can fit the main blower unit, but have started getting all the other bits out of the way  First being fitting up the first lot of pulleys, not much to see but need to order a longer belt so it can route under the idle puller in-between the power steering and water pump, The Stillen kit needs alot of standard stuff re-routing. One being a water pipe which was replaced with a nice looking metal pipe, loads better than the standard rubber everywhere Next I started working on the charge cooler system. The reservoir replaces the coolant overflow bottle, so will re-locate that tomorrow, Then got the chargecooler radiator mounted up, looking a bit ratty! Also mounted the water pump for the system and all the piping done and run the wiring for the water pump ready to be wired into a relay.
  11. Would love to see SVN-D's!! 18x12 et.0 please I'm running 18x10 svn's at te moment and they look lovely on the Z
  12. Pics of the damaged catch. This is the ONLY damage to the whole of the bonnet.
  13. Will get a picture on Monday but it's not the main hook that's missing. Just the secondary catch that you use to release the bonnet after you've popped it from inside the car
  14. Thanks man Will take 350 for a quick sale
  15. Selling my spotless genuine Seibon carbon bonnet with the '07 style bonnet bulge No chips or scratches at all however the bonnet catch has somehow snapped off. Please understand its just the bonnet catch not the bonnet stay that locks the bonnet down. It still locks down tight and is absolutely fine, and lines up perfectly Really nice bonnet and I wish I could keep it but I need the cash Looking for £400 collection only (from Orpington, Kent)
  16. Yeh I had a look around your car too, very clean I must say!! Unlike my car which is turning into a true beaten drift car I didn't stay too long though, I'm only really into things where I can drive - can't stand around for long
  17. So was at Santa Pod on Wednesday, had an awesome time as always! The shorter final drive meant I was using third for the whole track which made life a lot easier Although at the end of the day I was going for 4th on the bigger corners just to show off really lol Managed to qualify with a joint first position of 85 points for the Open Drift Championship in October although I need to qualify another 3 times to guarantee a place. Anyways here's a few video's
  18. Just pulled from my 30K Km car, perfect condition, no rips, frays or wear in the leather and no scratches in the centre. Just looking for 30 quid ono plus postage
  19. Id love to be able to run those braces but the standard 'W' brace is getting trashed as it is! These would just get ruined on my car - too low Thinking of doing a C-west type lip kit just so I can raise the car an inch or so! Yeh Taddy come along if you can mate, I'll be sure to take you round for a few laps
  20. What made a real noticeable difference for me was fitting de-cats! Yeh free flow mods, exhaust, remap, weight loss - anything that takes stresses away from the engine and makes its life easier means it doesnt have to work as hard to get things done and therefore uses less fuel. If that makes sense!
  21. Cheers lads! Will be at Santa Pod again on Wednesday 23rd for some more drifty fun! Will be good to see how it compares now I have the shorter final drive, 2 way diff, and lightweight flywheel in since last time I was there! If anyone wants to come along and check out the car feel free, will be happy to take anyone out for a few laps Got the new gearbox in on Sunday, pretty simple job, also cleaned up the W brace as its getting scraped and bashed around so much. I see this being a never ending job for the car Also I need to get used to this lightweight flywheel and clutch, I keep thinking things are wrong with the drivetrain, but its just these being very noisy which aparently is normal!
  22. Would you be interested in a PX with my exhaust?? I take it your selling this as its too loud?? My true dual is too quiet!! Ive modified it so it fits real nice (its one of the 400 quid ebay jobs which are great exhausts just didnt fit so well but now its spot on) Anyways you can see it in my build thread here along with all the work ive done. If you want a swap though ill need your Y pipe also as this come with the true dual style Y pipe http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=41022 Cheers Will
  23. In Old News!! These are the pics from when I re-aligned the exhaust a few weeks back. Was a pretty @*!# job! Glad its done now although the left hand exhaust's flange is sitting a little low so i'll have to bring that up at some point and the right hand exhaust needs a hangar bracket making up Loads better though You can see how low im running the car, this brace is getting ruined!! Will be doing away with it when I get a cage in Before these were hugging and rattling off the diff And finally sitting where they should be  Albeit on a minging car! Got another gearbox arriving this week from a 2007 with a years warranty even with my SC install, so theoretically should be sweet! Courtesy of ZMANALEX!
  24. I think EPRacing have them in stock... unless your looking for second hand but here ya go; VS Style Front Lip
