Is there a folding key fob available for the 350s, fed up of scratching the drivers door handle.

 

How you're scratching up the door handle?

 

Don't you use remote lock and unlock?

When I remove the keys from ignition and open the door.

Done mine this morning. Works a treat, just remember to push the cassette deck into a playing position with a pen.

Just a note worth noting, if that makes sense?

I work in the fuel industry, and no i dont get free fuel, I have inside information that "JET" fuel is high octane as standard and has better addatives than any other.

All the big boys, BP,SHell, Esso etc are of equal quality but you pay higher prices for higher octane and their addatives are not at strong as jet.

Tescos, Asda etc fuel, although slightly cheeper is lower standard than the bigboys fuel. IE. less addatives, just enough to make it upto high octane rating.

Shouldnt they know about LSD's and rolling road brake tests? That would be a great start to my weekend if theyve chuffed it up.

Didnt like the chap doing the MOT, he even wanted to test the roof operation......Didnt know that fell within the MOT guide lines.

would count on it, didnt know when I got mine done... will keep a better eye on them this time and let them know it got an LSD... do you sign anything like a disclaimer or something before they take the car off you? Not sure how you'd check if they knackered something or not either mate.

Didnt sign anything, think the MOT monkeys and their apprentices were to interested in looking everywhere in the car, really wound me up thinking some young punk was sitting in my car

revving the nuts out of it for no reason but too hear the sound of the engine. Lost my rag with the owner of the garage who promptly asked the idiot not to rev it so hard.......

Just been out doing some reversing and it only seems to happen when i reverse up my dropped kerb into my driveway, but nothing on a flat road. Almost sounds like water dripping on the boot, really hard to describe. sorry

did they test the brakes on the brake yoke? (rolls)

Yes they did....... assume they wernt ment too?

Just had me zed mot'd. Passed ok, but now when i reverse, i have a clicking/ticking sound coming from the rear passanger side!!

Any ideas?

When clean and dry use FABSIL to waterproof it, can be bought in camping shops, and its by far better than the autoglym waterproof you get in the 2 pack,

side lights if poss. if not where did you get them, they are soooo cooool

I'm lost here. Is this thread for real or what? I mean, I can see that the replies on this page clearly aren't, but I don't actually see the original question being serious at all: Surely no-one actually expects that temperature indicator to be 100% correct to the outside temp? I have no idea where the sensor is, but given that on every other vehicle I've been in they will all report different outside temps regardless of what the weatherman says I fail to see what the problem is?

 

It's just a guide, and a pointless one at that. Stick your head out of the window and find out what the temperature is, don't rely on a bloody gauge in a car!

How was I to know it was a main issue with the zed?

Only just got the bloody car. Still got 14 day exchange so

might get a car that works right.

It means your engine temprature sensor is failing and you need a new engine. Either that or the temperature sensor is located somewhere which doesn't enjoy the warmth of direct sunlight. But you probably need a new engine.

WTF? Its only got 15k on the clock, are we talking about the same thing here? I am talking about the digital display pod that indicates the various different set points.

IE, clock, mpg, outside temp, stop watch etc.

What will this do for me?

If you havent got a roadster you could waterproof your tent!

ive got an alpine stereo ill be getting rid of shortly but its not a double din,its a single din 7 inch motorised touchscreen

I wanna rid my bose head unit and install a double din. I would like to retain my steering wheel controls too Questions are.

1. What loom is required and where do i get one?

Just a note that if you wanna protect your rag top, i have been using FABSIL and it works a treat. Outdoor/camping shops sell it. Good purchase for roadster owners.

Also did my wife beetle too.

I had the same on my Zed today too ...
