    20mm & 25mm Spacers

Cool, will drop him a PM - still open to a used set if anyone has some.
  2. Spotted a fairly heavily modded GM 54 plate UK GT in Bath public car park today. Looked like painted rays, carbon front lip, k1 exhaust and LED rear lights. Also saw a nice clean black GT in the one way traffic. Should stop looking at cars and do some work really...
  3. Hi, After a set of 4 hubcentric spacers (20mm + 25mm). In no rush so happy to wait for a used set. If you want to find a new home for yours please let me know! Stuart
  4. I've installed a Navman. Had to remove the centre console of dash, head unit and 3 centre dials, but it took me about an hour and cost me nothing! Very pleased with mine. Stu
  5. Spotted Gun Metal 370z on M3/M27 junction about 7pm 05/03/11. Good show! Car looked great. Stu
  6. Hi guys, I'm in - If I'm in Dorset at the time.
  7. 'Faster the better' was relating to vehicles used. Forget it, I thought a bit of humour and a nice trip to Germany would be good. I will ensure future posts are deadly serious to avoid further confusion. As for bringing up Ian - that's was a terrible accident, but please don't suggest my intention was to risk the lives of forum members - that's not on. Merry Christmas.
  8. The sub 8 minute was just a joke, did not expect such anger in response. Of course, whenever you drive an unfamiliar track you take your time and keep within the rules of the track. I'm not suggesting we get drunk, drive about as fast as possible and mow down some marshalls for a laugh. Don't you think that's a bit heavy handed? Lighten up a bit
  9. Chill out, it's not a full on competition. Just a good excuse to get a few people with a common interest out the house for a weekend! Anyone attending will no doubt drive within their own limits. Deserves to be shot? You bellend
  10. Right, Been talking to some friends of mine about a little challenge for spring/summer 2011. Looking at May/June/July 2011 for a Nurburgring sub 8 minute lap time challenge. Entry requirements: Open - the faster the better I'll be leaving the zed at home and using my 2008 Yamaha R1 with sticky tires and full akrapovic system. Feel free to use any car/bike/dirty tricks to get the fastest lap time. I've been informed that lap timing is not permitted, so any suggests as to how we record times would be good. Intending on doing it over a long weekend i.e. Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon. Dates and times not yet confirmed so please feel free to chip in with any experience or suggestions. We've got the option of including an Autobahn run within the 4 days if required. Interested parties so far: 2008 R1 Scooby STI Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Vauxhall VXR8 (Tuned) 350z Elise 111R Let me know if you're interested, Stuart
  11. Haha. Was it just before the snow? Did a cheeky lunchbreak tescos trip
  12. I thought they might work with zed, GTRs on BBS LMs look good. I want nismo 19s but looking at cheaper options.
  13. Hi chaps, I've got a set of BBS RS2 split rims currently on my Audi Avant. The Audi is up for sale at the moment, and I was wondering if anyone knows a way to fit audi (5x112 i think) to nissan? If i remember correctly they are ET37 18 inch. I bought them intending to refurb them with polished lips but bought the zed instead. What you rekon? Yay or ney? with polished lip: http://media.photobucket.com/image/bbs% ... SRSIIa.jpg
  14. My Granadad was chairman of the council at the time it went up for sale. I know Damon Hill was interested in it (and in F1) at the time. They had ECC1 too - Think that went to Eric Charles Cantona?? From Ford Scorpio to Veyron...its done well
  15. I got my other half a plate last year, she's Nicole Faux - picked up N 7AUX for £250 from DVLA. Her Nan loved it...ha Looking for one for me at the mo, I'm going to be honest - it hides the age of the car. Also, my zed is an import, so I'm hoping to get V4 SWA for £400 and make it fit in the square plate space/mount. Would rather have F1 SWA, but that's crazy wonga. Bloke local to me has 6OD on a black range rover I went in an Essex County Council car a few years back, they had two ford scorpios, plates F1 & 1F End!
  16. Sorry chaps, just found this: viewtopic.php?f=53&t=35285&hilit=black+lining&start=30
  17. Cheers guys, I think the head lining and the A/B panel plastic lets an otherwise good interior down so would love to change it. Mmmm nice
  18. Was in an Aston with black alcantara head lining the other day and was drawing smiley faces in it. I want me some of that. Anyone had the roof lining re-trimmed? Would love to see some pics or have some tips. With all these things, I think I'd buy another one instead of wrecking my standard one, so if you have one knocking about i may be interested
  19. I'd be interested in doing this because unlike most ICE jobs, It could be fairly cheap as I already have an ipad for work. I'm not an apple whore, in fact they wind me up a bit, but they look pretty and can store music/play video. I really don't think it's as bigger job as people are making out. First step is buy an extra centre console so you don't bugger yours up. Next thing would be to try and pick up an ipad dock from somewhere and salvage most of that. This pic may help anyone interested in sizes
  20. It's an import, so may explain the time on the Bose? The power is coming from the rear fag lighter. My UK Z had 2 cigarette lighter power sorces, but the JDM only has the one. I once wired in an extra cigarette lighter to an Audi TT when I was working for Halfords, so that may be an option in the future. Need to get rid of the Bose it's doing my head in!
  21. Hi guys, Just thought I'd share this with you as I'm sure most people own a satnav and don't like the cubby box! I've been meaning to do this for a while, but finally got round to it this afternoon, as the other half has an addiction to DJ Hero 2... Right, rather than going for a full Nurrish install (which is very nice btw) I thought I'd make the most of what I already had. I found a 'how to' guide on removing centre console on the forum and had the console on my work bench in about 10mins. I removed the cubby from the dash console and sratched my head trying to work out a suitable way of mounting the satnav. In the end I found a totally smooth disc in the garage about 3 inches round, and super glued it to the back of the cubby (advanced - I know). I then routed the cable through the dash so it's all tucked away and put it back together. Anyway - an hour later and bobs your uncle
  22. I know what you mean, but if it was fitted right I think it could work. Key thing for me is that it can be removed, otherwise it'll get nicked in all of 5 minutes. Is it a smart move to do away with the HU? If I had an amp with several AUX ins I could run one to ipad, one to ipod and another one to a handsfree system.
  23. Oh - how much? Will need help with amps and stuff, but will try the search button before asking stupid questions
  24. Just had a play, looks like a near perfect fit if you remove cubby and HU
  25. Hrmm.... Have ipad and 350z, been looking at changing the bose HU recently for something interesting. Wonder if an amp and ipad combo could do the job? Maybe wack some laptop gubbins in passanger side storage for wireless internet (non-wireless ipad). about to browse ebay for centre console plastics...
