How much you looking at if i was going to replace the cd player?

Looks like my cd player has packed up, it won't play any cd's, it goes through all 6 disc's and then says 'Check Disc' can anybody give me any tips on how to try and fix it or is it time i got a new up to date unit? Cheers

Cheers I cleaned it using the Wekstat Acrylic Kit that i bought off www.polishedbliss.co.uk It really brings the shine out of my paintwork

Went ahead and fitted some Eibach spacers, 25mm on the rear and 20mm on the front. I'm really pleased with the way the car looks now.

Been thinking for a few weeks now whether to sell my Zed and get something a little more economical, plus been getting pressure from the gf to stop spending silly amounts of cash on it! I don't see how it's silly!! lol I've had it up for sale for a week or so now and had a few enquiries mainly asking if i'd take £6000 for it!!! Erm don't think so mate! I was driving it yesterday from my sister's house waiting at a junction to pull out and i noticed that 3 of the cars opposite stuck in traffic were looking at my Zed and then it hit me. WTF am i thinking getting rid of my pride and joy when i have such a blast driving it. So now am gonna keep it and no thoughts of selling it for the foreseeable future!! So see you at Zed-Fest for anybody who is going.

Don't worry i'll be there bright and early, even talked my mrs to come along which is a big thing as she takes the **** out of me all the time for having in her words "a silly expensive car" but am begining to bring her round to the world of the Zed!!

I went from MK1 180 Quattro TT to my Zed and it was the best move i've ever made. It's true that yours will be faster than my old TT but you get so much more car. Go for it mate, you won't regret it

Yeah it needs another wash but it's been very windy the last 2 days so i don't really fancy doing it. haha

Well that has pi**ed on my bonfire a bit, having thought that it would give me a hp increase. Oh well, i like the sound it makes so take with one hand and give with another.

I thought it was supposed to give a little increase in hp.. I thought after my service the other week when it was fitted that it's felt more responsive.

Just had a JWT Pop Charger installed, and was mulling over the idea of a plenum spacer. Am i right in thinking your talking around £170 ish to get hold of one?? Was just asking for some advice from members who have one installed on the pro's of having one and also if there is any cons. What difference does it make?? Regards, Matty
