Anybody got any advice on getting rid of stone chips? I see today in Halford's that they have there own touch up pens but i didn't want to go down this route if i didn't have to.

Thanks for all the comments, it was 5 hrs well spent imo. Yeah i wish it would stay clean for at least a few days, but that is the price for having a Kuro car.

The only non Auto-Glym products i used was Autobrite Black Magic Carnauba Paste Wax that is great for black or dark colour cars and Auto-Sol for cleaning up the exhaust.

I use Auto-Glym, Halfords have 3 for 2 offer on at the minute so it would be rude not to stock up on some stuff. My girlfriend kept coming out every so often and kept asking what you doing to it now?? Bless she tried to take an interest because usually she just give's me grief on how much i spend cleaning it. I'll make her understand one day haha

Thought i'd give my Zed a nice clean and wax seeing as though it was a nice sunny day here in Grimsby. It was light when i started..I'm sure many of you know what it's like when you get started

The alley behind the workshop is littered with pot holes think one of the lads must have clipped one. At least they owned up to chipping it and not be d##ks about it claiming it was there before. The lights were bought last year from america via ebay £160 very pleased with them and look the nuts at night.

Bought a N1 replica spoiler from DBlock a few weeks ago and had it in the body shop for a couple of days. I think they've done a great job but they have chipped one of my alloys but they did own up to it and are getting it sorted next week for me.

First time i've been pulled over in it since i've had it. Yeah it's been hard not driving it for the last 4 months. Probably have passed you, you'll have to flash or give me a wave if we pass.

Yeah I had a feeling that i'd get pulled over. Got a copy of my insurance in the car at the min now. He was a decent guy to be fair couldn't fault him.

Finally took the covers off my Zed today after being wrapped up for 4 months. Got it all insurred again and went out for a spin. Well 45 mins later I got pulled over by the rozzers. Pinged up no insurance on their anpr camera's. Got it all sorted in less than 5 mins but he did admit he'd blown his turbo on the 59 reg Volvo T5 trying to catch me up. Not that I was speeding just that he was the other side of the duel carriage way when they clocked me. He was impressed with my Zed said it looked really smart. onwards and upwards.

Yeah i'm going to get all my mods done first then look at getting it remapped. I've just seen where RS is. and it is alot closer hmmm probably makes more sense going there.

Well it was originally parked up due to the fact that i thought i was going to have to sell it, but i've remortaged the house and payed the finance off on the car!! haha Thanks for the reply, i think i'm going to take your advice and get a plenum spacer before i probably go and get it re-mapped. Cheers for the replies, yeah i have been doing some searching and had a look at Abbey & RS Tuning websites. Yeah i have seen that people have said it is a smoother ride and have a slight bhp increase.

I've got some extra cash that i want to spend on my Zed. It's a stock 276bhp apart from a K1 exhaust. Was thinking of maybe treating it to a remap but didn't know if it was worth it???

Yeah it is indeed. I can't wait to drive it, just been turning it over every week and sitting in the seat wanting to take it out for spin.

I've had my Z parked up in my driveway with a cover over it since the 1st November, due to a change in circumstances I thought I had to sell it but as I’ve only got a small mortgage due to my late father selling me the house. I’m in the position to be able to borrow on the mortgage, I still owed £10k on my Z having only owned it for a year now. So I’ve re-mortgaged the house borrowing the money to pay off the car!!! I know allot of people may think am nuts but you only live once and you can't take your money with you. My girlfriend wasn't too overly impressed with the idea as she's moving in next month, but I told her that it won't affect her as I’m the one who pays the mortgage. I just told her that I don't smoke, I hardly drink and just to get some brownie points I said apart from you it's the one thing that puts a big smile on my face!! So am just waiting for all the paperwork to come through, the mortgage has been accepted and I’ll be able to drive the Z again, well when the weather picks up am thinking about March time It's been killing me so much walking past my Z thinking I’ll never be able to experience that power, that driving experience and the roar from my K1 exhaust. So bring on March, getting it in for a service, touching up some paint work where I’ve got some scratches and then a nice drive down to Japfest in May!!!
