  1. MW Tech do 15mm bolt on hubcentric spacers or I saw a set of used eibach ones on **REMOVED** but they were dearer and having fitted MW Tech ones to the front of mine today they seem to be good quality.

  2. comon dyla, thats 3 times you have said mvtech, even after being corrected :D :D :D:boxing:

yeah, the 10mm wasnt hubcentric as it was a test to see if you needed longer studs which unfortunately had no luck sourcing. normally there would be a lip round the inside to keep it hub centered

dyla covered the problem why there is no 10mm available from me, as it is, the 15mm spacers supplied already use a special adapted nut to sit flush inside the 15mm rather than the 20mm plus, anything less and i personally would have reason to be slightly unconfident in the nuts long term strength, they would be very thin and the Z is a pretty heavy car

its a shame they cost so much for the ones your after, especially since the 15mm available here are £60 delivered

Tell me about it, I seriously grudge paying soo much for something that will make so little difference but I keep looking at the car and just dont think it looks right with the front wheels recessed and the rears sitting flush.

  3. The boring old gits wanting to sell it already  , he says its not practicle enough for him and wants something with four doors now so if anyones interested its available for £46990 and currently on 7k miles.

Think I'm going to start pushing him towards a Jag XFR, if he needs something 4 door and comfy I can at least try to persuade him to get something else fast. :drive1

Ask your dad to chat to Chesterfield about a Jag XFR ;)

Exactly what I was thinking Colin

You guys local or salesmen there or something?

  4. I think this bidding war could take a while to met to meet reserve

Still trying to persuade him to keep it and with the snow been on the roads the 4wd over rwd arguement seems to be getting through, fingers crossed my powers of persuasion work

  6. Do you mean MW Tech? Already tried, I was their test dummy on the 10mms (test ones are not useable as they were not hubcentric) to see if longer studs were required and since giving them the feedback they've had no luck sourcing longer studs to offer a 10mm kit. :bang:

  7. I'm running aftermarket 20" alloys and 15mm would deffo be too wide unfortunetally, the 10mms really seem to be the biggest pain,5mm or below and 15mm or above is easy. Looking like I might need to just bite the bullit and buy them new but at over £100 inc delivery it's a sore one for a tight wad like me.

  8. Wouldn't be able to go up to 10mm as I'd need longer studs, that's the major problem as I can get 10mm spacers second hand but cant find longer studs. Halfrauds ones aren'tt hubcentric either so I'd be reluctant to go any more than 3mm which I don't think would be enough.

  9. Forgot to update you guys but got a shot for the 1st time back in June for my birthday :yahoo: , took it pretty easy but had another couple shots since then and OMG that thing is rediculous!

Was stuck behind a sports bike having to feather the throttle so as to not ram into the back of him on the twisties and it doesnt let up pushing you back in the seat no matter how fast your going.

Shame the roads in the UK aren't level, even though it has loads left in it at *60mph (don't want to be getting into trouble) even the slightest bump or crest in the road leads to me soiling myself so dont think I'll even get to test the claimed 195mph top end.

Also found out its got an aftermarket Y pipe that if paired with improved air filters (haven't checked if it's got them) supposidly ups power to around 530bhp which is about 300bhp/tonne :teeth:

  10. Yeah its just too loud, sometimes im in the mood for noise but when im doing motorway runs it wears thin on me. Id also prefer something a little stock looking too, but with slightly more grunt. I might just paint them black then, as i hate the way they look when theyre in. What paint do i use?

I used very high temperature engine enamel paint from halfords and seems to be holding up well

  11. got the 20s for the rear, now just after 10s but would want to know they deffo fit so if they are slip ons then I'd either need longer studs or your assurance that I didn't need them (e.g. fitted to your car previously without longer studs)

  12. How about raising the amount of posts of the members who want to swap. Say 300/400 posts maybe even 500. Logic in this is that the more posts you have, the longer and better known you are. I would feel uneasy to swap with someone who ahdnt been around for long.

300+ seems awfully high, I'm only on 80 odd but did come up with the idea, that mean I get special treatment? ;)

also maybe it could be the case that only 1 item needs to be 350Z related, e.g. swapping a set of std wheels for a xbox 360 or something like that? opens the options available to people and would increase the number of posts without opening it to everything and anything (e.g. TV for a dishwasher)

  13. tried the bung on the GF but she just kept spitting it out so put them on the car, still sounds the man but lools a bit pants, might spray the bungs black so they aren't so visible
