  5. Ye blood !! this car iz bad!! need da space to fit my dog 2 pac and me bitch innit.
  6. i will put a thicker boot carpet in but will get the sound proof stuff inn first. mo money!!!
  7. YUP thanks for the info been a great help.
  8. oh yeh i understand what your saying mate but i may as well finish what ive got left (another 20 sheets ) in the arches were the noise is coming from, but it has made a difference. but was a piece of wee getting the trim apart and that tool works wonders (thanking)
  9. Well yeh it will add weight but i dont think it anything to go by. Unless yours is Brawn gp car in disguise. Well i went out again and it has go more quiet in there so maybe i was too critical i can hear the tyres alot so it must be cos there the original tyres that come from nissan, just changed to the same over the years, ive got more Damplifier coming so when the cars wheels are off agin il put some in the arches but i would say that this has bin worth while. The real test is the Motorway i think
  10. Ok after taking out nearly all the interior and fitting 2 skins worth of sound proof matting or damplifier. i went out for a little drive to hear any differences. there is a little but i may have to get up to higher speeds to properly find out. i was going to take the wheels off and fill the metal part of the arches with more of it hoping this will do the trick other than that there is clear reflectors going on, new custom head lights, new cyrstal rear lights and a new exhaust. So my drive will look like a nissan parts store over the next few weekends.
  11. i bought one of them and th roller came this morning. ordered at 4 yesterday im dunna sound proff ma ass off!!
  12. i just had another look for it and found it so il give it a go. Doesnt look hard just have to be careful not to break the clips. Just needed to know where to start really rather than start pulling trim in random order
  13. tried it but it only shows around the centre console tho
  14. Is there a guide to removing the trim behind the seats. I.E glove boxes, boot trim ?

    Road Tax

    maybe ring the DVLA ?
  16. On any exhaust does it drone in the cabin or does it depend on what exhaust you have.
  17. true. i just want it to stop the road noise. if i want exhaust noise il open the window. But im sure il hear the Scorpion system from inside anyway. il put sum pictures up whilst doing it and put it in "guides" cos im nice
  18. i ordered Damplifier bulk pack (22 sheets) a roller and trim popper. so all in all thats 219 quid which i dont think is bad tbh. thanks for the link the bloke was helpful and its coming tomorrow
  19. right ok.. i ordered a trunk kit which is 5 sheets 18" x 36" each so il see how i get on. i can always do the boot floor first then gradually make my way around the sub boxes etc. Cant believe how big that area is, what a waste!! the foam must be sticky on one side i take it??
  20. ok, this is very helpful.. was it hard getting the trim apart and putting back together. How much in total do you think you used to do everything behind the seats?
  21. Cheese & Rice look at the size of that !! err maybe i need more stuff another £100 quid.
  22. righto, so where the Bose speakers are.. thats not hard to remove? and the surounding plastics?. il ripp it all off if i can to make it queiter, thats my only complaint about the car so may as well do a proper job
  23. well yeh but its simple thing like the carpet, plastic lining, spare wheels n stuff. i think once out i think its a reasonable size area to cover. ooo dunno bout removing the other stuff il have to take my time with that part and not lose anything
  24. good tip. just hope the wknds a dry 1. il try to get the trim off but will do the boot floor first.
  25. look in the for sale section. theres some nice examples in there.
