  1. Hi guys, Looking to replace the bose headunit in my 350z for something a bit nicer. Before anyone suggests, I don't really fancy a nurrish system. I'm looking for a double din headunit that can do the following: - Control my 6th Gen iPod nano - CD/DVD player - Bluetooth - Sat Nav (With recent maps and/or easily updatable maps) - Ability to keep my steering wheel controls What does everyone suggest? Cheers,
  2. This is the unit I bought and it works just fine. Quite interested to hear feedback on this! How is the unit? Does it work well?? Sound quality etc? I'd also be interested to hear how you got on with making the steering wheel controls work, did that all work without problem too??? Cheers in advance,

    19"/20" Wheels

if you have a minute, please click my sig Cheers for posting mate! Checked your thread a few times whilst browsing, just not really feeling the black centres if i'm honest. If the whole wheel was chromed, I'd have had them off you by now! Anyone else got anything hiding away???

Anyone got anything else of interest??
  5. Most definately, completely appreciate what your saying, I just thought the differences wouldn't be so big. (Just taking into account what you said about 10%, so assuming the price you quoted me was 10% discount from your normal prices, the difference becomes nearly £200, and thats not taking into account the varr wheels we mentioned previously). Anyway, not to worry, at least its answered a few questions I had. Cheers,

    19"/20" Wheels

Possibly, it might help if i knew what i was looking for too To be honest, I'm open to all sorts of ideas, as long as the offset is nice and the backs are 10"+wide... I did initially want something with a big dish on, but the Rota GTRs look good too so im tempted by that sort of "concave" look wheel too. Cheers for the post tarmac. Spokes look a little thin on those, although do you supply other wheels? Im not far from Derby.... Thanks again,
  7. Again, no offense intended, but this, coupled with your quote on Rota GTRs being over £100 more expensive that other companies I've spoken to has put me off using rare rims a little. Thanks for at least trying to right the wrong though.
  8. Really? No offense intended, but you quoted me a price on the Varrstoen wheels via pm on here which was more than your charging on ebay....?

    19"/20" Wheels

Cheers for the post. I've considered yours for a while, but theres a few things that are putting me (personally) off. Sorry. Cheers anyway though,
  10. Thats it! Where did you manage to get yours from? Cheers,
  11. Cheers guy, will try and find a connector that fits and power it with 12v. Cheers,

    19"/20" Wheels

Cheers for the offer, but not exactly what I'm looking for. Anymore around? Would consider 20s possibly too.... Thanks,
  13. That looks like quite a good idea, never thought of running a camera like that! Can you not use the rear tow eye cap?? Whilst you have a topic already open, I wondered if someone could help me too. I have some old cameras that I ordered years ago from ebay that have never been used. The problem is that there doesnt appear to be a "power" cable for them, theres just these 2 wires coming from the camera : Obviously the yellow is just a normal video lead, but does anyone know what sort of plug i need for the other end? I guess its for the power?? Cheers in advance,

    19"/20" Wheels

Hi guys, Looking for some 19s (or maybe 20s??) for my zed. Open to ideas, what is available? Cheers,
  15. Hi mate. Absolutely perfect! So I guess you are running 10" wide all round? What offset are you running? You dont have any pictures do you? (In particular of how the tyres sit on the rims, and how the rims sit in the arches). I suppose the only other question is how are you dropped, and by how much? Did you run 10" wide prior to lowering without problems? (Appologies for all the questions, Just want to make sure I've covered all bases in my head ) Thanks in advance,
  16. Cheers for all the replies guys, much appreciated. So I'm getting the feeling that no-one sees too much problem with running 10" wide wheels up front, regardless of suspension setup? Its just a matter of making sure I stagger the tyre widths? Husky, do you have any pics of yours at all? Thanks in advance,
  17. Cheers for the link Stew, that certainly answers a few questions! So is there anyone out there running them currently? How do you find they handle?? I'd definately stagger the tire widths, just want to keep them looking good (The difference (in looks) between the 10" wide Rota GTR and the 9" wide is huge!) Cheers,
  18. Hi guys, I've been looking for some new wheels for my 350, and have almost set my mind on the Rota GTRs (19"). However, I absolutely love the look of the 10" wide rim with the concave face, but not so much the slightly flater 9" wide rim. Has anyone run 10" wide on the front? Any problems? Any pics at all? I'm currently running standard suspension, so not sure if this will cause issues, although I'm tempted to not fit them until I get my hands on some good suspension and fit the lot all together. Does anyone have any thoughts? (Or ideally, pictures of the above setup?) I've seen threads on 9.5" wide fronts, and as i want a nice aggressive look to the wheels, I'll be picking a low offset, so I wouldn't have thought this coupled with only 0.5" extra width on the tyre's will make a huge amount of difference? Thanks in advance!
  19. Install looks good! Could I ask though, what parts did you purchase to keep your steering wheel controls? Do they all work as expected etc? Thanks in advance
  20. Hi mate. What size / make+model tyres are on these? Thanks in advance,
  21. Cheers for the reply. Do you have any more information on a PAC SWI device? Ive used google and can't really find anything other than a DIY kit to wire in yourself, with no real idea on what head united it will work on. Has anyone achieved this, and if so, what equipment did they use? Thanks,
  22. Hi guys. Looking to install a new headunit in my 350, a double din one, probably with sat nav included. I would like to keep the steering wheel controls for the stereo. I've been searching on here, and although I can find the link to the adapter I need to convert the nissan loom to a standard ISO for my new headunit, whilst keeping the steering wheel controls, I can't find any mention of what additional adapters can then be purchased to keep the use of these controls. As I understand it, another adapter (I assume specific to the manufacturer of the headunit) needs to be purchased. Does anyone know which manufacturers support the nissan steering wheel controls? Has anyone got an aftermarket headunit working with their steering wheel controls? Thanks in advance,
  23. Hi mate. What size spacers are you running on these? Is the car lowered at all? Thanks,
  24. Out of interest, who did you get insured for that price from?!? Im 25 and am struggling to get anything less than £1400 a year (No claims discount, no points or accidents, low band postcode etc etc!) Cheers in advance!

    What Spec....?

Ahh ok, cheers for that. So anything pre-06 is the cheaper band across the board? or does it depend on model? Does anyone know what the difference is in price? Is there a lot in it? Cheers,
