I did try the newer pioneer units (as i did the newer JVC/Alpine/Kenwood units) and I just didn't think the difference justified the price difference, each to their own i guess! I don't actually have an SD card in mine, i just use my iPod so i'm not entirely sure. I heard they can support up to 16gb, but don't hold me to it! cheers,

I fitted a Pioneer f900bt just over a week ago to my car, after reading up for weeks and weeks on the best options for my zed. I had read about the "speed" of the unit, etc etc, so had set my expectations accordingly. Now i'm not sure if its because I set my expectations too low, or because the unit i purchased had already been "modded" (newer maps installed etc), but it is perfect! Menu isn't instant, but isn't anything other than what you would expect from a headunit installed in a car. Features galore, simple to use, i honestly don't think you could beat it for the price

Hi guys. Fitted my new headunit yesterday. Ever since, every time i brake, i get a clicking noise through the speakers. Does anyone know what caused this or how to fix it? I remember reading a thread on here where someone had the same problem, but can't seem to find it now. Cheers in advance

Cheers guys, unit is now in and working!! Going to order the newer steering wheel control wire, and think i might need a ground loop isolator as there seems to be some clicking when i brake, but apart from that, all is good!

Was hoping it would be straight forward with the loom he has created, but having a headache already lol! How on earth do you remove the plugs from the back of the headunit? There are 2 of the 3 which just wont budge. They've got an odd tab on the top, which doesnt seem to move in any direction. I've google'd it over and over but the US models look completely different!!

Cheers guys, will have a nosey behind there this morning Its actually srobriens old unit I have, so have been looking at his thread, but it doesn't explain anywhere on there where the steering control wires go. Also been reading about the adaptor number, mine is the 007 one. I didn't notice srobrien mention it not working correctly, although i notice others have on here. I'll fit it, and see what happens! Cheers for the link mate!! So, even after reading that, im completely confused still lol! I have the Purple/Grey/White wires. The other wires are fine and connected, so its just these wires that are causing me issues. On the PDF document, they just point towards a white connector, with no real explanation of what that connector is. Does anyone know? Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, Have the ICT adaptor for an aftermarket pioneer headunit (f900bt), but i'm unsure which wires to connect these into the current loom?? The adaptor was second hand and didn't have any instructions. If anyone could point me in the direction of these instructions, or let me know which goes where, that would be amazing! Realistically, your going to need a 10"+ wide wheel (Probably nearer 12"+) with an et0 offset (or + offset). Not the sort of thing you'll find off the shelf though! Theres a few sets of wheels for sale on driftworks that would fit the bill, but like i said, its not the sort of thing that you'll find at the local wheel shop.

I know Found a set of wheels on driftworks the other day that could have done the trick, but the woman isn't replying now, probably pi**ed off with all my questions I've decided if i dont find anything in the next few weeks I'm going to go for some 19" Rota GTRs. Going to get 2 of the 10" wide ones initially, and see how they sit on the front. If they sit well, i'll get 2 more 10" wide rims, if not, i'll get 2 of the thinner ones. Just quite fancy something a bit different than the norm though really...... C'mon someone, pop up with something special!! lol

Have spotted those. Tbh, they didn't really take my fancy for a number of reasons (Although the wheels are wide, they dont *look* it, ie. they dont have a decent dish or are very concave, not a huge fan of completely black centres). Can you tell im picky? The search continues...

Jesus, that was a quick welcome, cheers! As far as I know, its not running spacers, however i've not had a chance to take it apart properly (yet!). I think it might just be the angle of the photo and the dark colour of the car against the tyres though, making it seem a bit different than it actually is.

Cheers for the reply guys. Have been searching and searching for a unit which fits what i need well, and can't seem to find anything 'perfect'. Seem to have narrowed it down to 2 main contenders (The main concern with the older units on ebay is that the maps won't be easily updatable, but maybe im being too cautious?) JVC KW-NT3 Kenwood DNX7260BT Does anyone have any experience with either of the units?? Do you have any pictures? Was it easy to fit? How do the find the maps on it? Are they easy to update?? Have seen this unit come up a few times and quite like the look of it! Also, did it come with the bluetooth module? I notice online that they started to ship them with the unit, but everywhere i've seen it for sale they don't seem to advertise it. Where did you purchase if you dont mind me asking? Cheers,
