how do i do an ecu reset?

no its completely standard, however it used to have an induction kit on it but that was taken off on my request.

how could i change that? going into nissan?

yeah it is a stock exhaust, it doesnt sound like a blow out anywhere in the car. just the popping you sometimes get on high performance cars. i just wondered if this was normal, at idle? Sparky

hi there people, when my Zed is sitting there just on the idle it makes a small popping noise from the zorst. sounds like back pressure. i had just taken her (or she took me) for a good raz up the road tho. is this normal or am i just being silly. ohhhh and the heat that comes off her is immense!!!!! i have just bought my car from these guys, the salesman (steve) who i spoke to was VERY annoying. he was quite dismissive and just thought that i was a test pilot. i just popped into the garage on the way home from camping and was looking around when i spotted the car i was to buy. i was able to drive the car without a deposit. things didnt really go too smoothly TBH as there was loads of confusion between the garage and the finance company and just loads of other stuff. TBH i was going to walk out at one point but my GF told me to calm down and see what he had to say. then when i was there on the second visit i met the owner of the garage and he really sorted things out. got things moving really quickly. i was happy with the condition of the car and the history. i even got my sisters BF to have a really good look over it. he seemed happy. i also got 2 years full warranty. just in case!!!! this covers everything except the usual wear and tear items. i am very hapy with the car but have mixed feelings about the garage. i am following things up like the payment of the exsiting finance on my other car and (have yet to find the number) the previous owner. the unit doesnt look like it will fit in my phone cradle, it doesnt look like it will fit. 04 GT model.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^ thats what i would have said, had a MR2 one across the road, VERY difficult to tell the difference even when up close. the attention to detail was emmense..................... then he turned it over!!!!!!! LOL, didnt sound too bad but it was obvious it wasnt a real one.

search for this on ebay. OBD 2 II EOBD OBD2 Fault Code Reader CAN Scanner U380 this is the one i have and works a treat, well worth 30 quid. Sparky

hi there people, im am really proud to say i am now an owner!!!!!!!!!! i had my sisters BF come down and give the car a really good goin over (he is a mechanic at Lexus), he was there for 2hours!!! the salesman didnt know what hit him i dont think. i also got the 2 years extended warranty, that covers all parts and labour up to £5000. plus i got a really good price on my car for the PX. i have listened to your advice and greatly appriciate it, hence why we took the bloody thing apart and also took out the warranty. but when its all done i am now a full owner member of the prestigeous 350z-uk.com club. woooooohoooooooooooo

hi there people, i test dove a sunset red 350z gt today and what a car!!!!!!!!!! WOW. the car is in very good condition and is lovely to drive. however there was a few issues. the ECU warning light came on, which was a bit of a worry. however most of the time it is usually nothing as i found out on my ford. i took my ECU diagnostics tool with me(just in case). and i found 2 codes, 1:- P0102-MAF OR VAF A CIRCUIT LOW INPUT 2:- P0113-IAT SENSOR 1 CIRCUIT HIGH INPUT i have reset these codes and they did not comeback on so i believe it was when i was giving it the beans. if any can help thanks in advance, i have also opted for the extended warranty which was £800 for 2 years, and that covers everything. and up to a value of 5K also it says in the service book that it has had a 2x P1 services but no major service. it is on an 04 with 28k on the clock. does this mean it will need a major service soon? sorry for all the questions cheers in advance

it was a lovely car when i was running, but no one could tune the thing. she had it serviced on the dot and it was well looked after, but she took it to a new mechanic (because he promised her he could tuning it properly) and he buggered it up and it never ran proper after that. but she has come into some money now and it will (hopefully) be restored to its former glory.
