I don;t understand bodyshops. surely a car only needs to be there for maximum of a week to have work done.

Why do they need cars to be sitting around for months on end???

I don't have much experience of them but this doesn't make any sense to me.

Why house all these cars instead of having them come in for a day or two when the works carried out??

Having watched this situation develop I was more and more annoyed bt it. The winner was a very keen show car entrant and having gone well out of her way to win the 350z was obviously delighted to ha won it. She has been thoroughly messed about since then and the published article is clearly an added insult. I can only imagine how upset she feels now. No car for this years shows.

Surely this could have happened when some idiot tried to change the windscreen but didn't know what he was doing??

Both A pillars and B pillars come off and are on clips plus a screw so i very much doubt that they would affect the structure of the car in the event of a roll.

You should be able to get it repaired with new A pillars. It will cost a fair bit. I would demand that they put this all right or pay to have it done.
