  1. Welcome Ray, saw sone pics of your recent open day on the Celica Club UK forums and spotted a yellow 350Z. Fab looking premises :thumbs:

     

    Thanks. We do our best to set a higher standard compared to most body workshops typically under bridges and arches.

    We believe in a working in a clean and organised environment which is why we have 3 chambers in our body shop.

    Mechanical, prep and spray booth.

    Hence why we have fabrications of bodykits at a different location to our body shop.

  3. Hi and thank you all for the friendly welcome.

    I'll write a little introduction as to what Taras and I do in due date.

    We have 2 location in London. One fabrications workshop and one body shop which recently opened up.

     

    Taras is the one who owns the orange Z and we've got some good plans for that car.

    Meanwhile I hope to learn a lot more about these beautiful machines from you all.

    I hate to be the one to let you all know this but Jamies is actually a con man.

     

    His real name is Barry and he's been on the run for the past 4 years.

    He's just been arrested a days ago and awaiting court hearings.

    He's managed to scam thousands of pounds from forum members and traders in the celica-club.co.uk. including many parts.

     

    If you have paid any money or sent any parts to him, then I'm afraid it's very unlikely you'll ever get it back.

    Its way too long to read but you should start reading from around page 45 which explains what's mainly going on.

     

    I hope no one is at loss and that it's not too late to inform you.

     

    Please spread the work in other forums as many celica forum members already know he's in other clubs such as the honda Prelude forums too.

  6. Personally, I think a closed airbox ie stock or the B)STILLEN box is the way forward, however I am very interested in a new Maxogen Kit for the 350Z by ITG..

     

     

    I think for stage 1 this is true. A Good panel filter will most likely give you more gains in power then an induction kit but if you are looking for big power, a proper induction isolated from heat with a proper air feed is the way forwared.

     

    And as for having a low down scoop, I'm always against it because you only need to go through a pool of water for it to all go wrong.

  7. Hey mate, the pop chargers will suffer from some heat soak when stationary but when your driving the air flow increases so its not much of a problem. The JWT does have a heat shield as does the HKS so that will help.

    At the end of the day most peiople have them on for the noise and not so much about the performance as the OEM box is already awesome. :thumbs:

     

    The air travels through a gap in the front of the bumper directly infront of the pop charger, well it does on mine anyhow not sure if there are differences between what year your car is and if its an import. Sure someone more knowledgable than me could tell you. :lol:

    At least you guys have a decent front air feed. However I'd say get a sheet of mild stainless steel from B&Q and make your self a nice sectioned off area around the induction.

    Looking at the engine bay pics, the 350Z does have enough space so shouldnt be too hard to do. You'll find a smoother ideling even at stand still if you can keep the heat out and even some more bhp gains.

  8. Silly question maybe but with open inductions for the 350Z's do they suffur much from heat soak from the engines?

    I dont see them having heat shields or walls like the S2K's for example. Also where's the cold air feed coming from?

    I actually know quite a few of the traders in this forum already as the're familier with what we do.

    Another question. There's been quite a few versions in such a short period of time. Which would you say is the most popular model worth getting? Not just in performance but value as well.

    Both of our car's have been undering massive changes in the last year and is ever changing now.

    We do have products for the 350Z however I wount be advertising it in the forum.

    RT-P started when both myself and Taras was sick of the rubbish carbon products that was being sold online. We've wasted over 5K in stock through trial and error over the years sampling products all over the far east. CUrrently we work with just a small handfull of fabricators we only trust.

    We've made custom gauge pods and also high spec 3 point strut braces which is due to launch next year.

    We've invested our profits into a rally team in the middle east, sponsering them to develope and test new engine componants so that we can sell next year such as con rods, cams, fly wheels, alu radiators and FMIC with 20% more cooling surface areas then leading brands and etc... All rally spec parts tested to the breaking point.

    The last time we seen your culb stand was when we attended the Jap fest at castle combe and we liked what we saw.

    We was parked over at teh celica club stand.

     

    One thing I'd like to ask is a simple question.

    We know that there was a change in engines in 2008 and the newer models has a bigger/raised engine hence why the hood has a bump.

    My questions is, if you take a late 2008 hood, will it fit a pre 2008 350z?

    You see currently we have the 2000-2007 model hood and we're thinking of stocking the 2008+ model.

  11. Hi all. I'm new to this club.

    I joined to do some research and hopefully to join some of your meets and gathering to exchange knowledge.

    My name is Ray and I am co owner of RT-Performance.com. My business partner is called Taras.

    Some of you may have already heard about us as we've been in the Celica and GT4 forums for a while now.

    Our concept is to bring modern materials and tuning solutions to some of the older car's which may not have had the technology at the time such as making carbon prop shaft's or Ti engine internals. We look at current products and see if we can improve on them using modern resources and technology.

    Not saying the 350Z is old, but we might learn a few things from the car.

    Where as we're not looking at trading in this forum, we've decided to join to be able to meet some like minded people and to learn a few more things about other cars such as the 350Z.
