  1. £89 all in at any Chorley Nissan in the Northwest. Maybe a bit too far, but hopefully useful to barter down the price at another dealer
  2. Recently had a dealer service and they have used a semi synthetic oil. This correct for a zed?
  3. Just picked up the car from its P1. Total price was £89! Extremely happy, customer service was first class. Loan car included. Even gave the car a clean! Chorly Nissan get a BIG from me!
  4. Oct 2006 Red 350z, GT Pack, 22k miles, full service history (Inc P1 this week). Exemplary condition, totally unmarked, would welcome any inspection. I bought it a month ago with extremely light damage, some before & after pics here: http://www.fglautobodies.co.uk/80415/info.php?p=7 From speaking with the insurance engineer the only reason it was not repaired as a back order for a part at Nissan and the owner wanted it resolved Parts replaced: bonnet, bumper, radiators & associated trims. All parts were bought from Nissan, with the Nismo V1 bumper from the Cougarstore. Receipts for everything and full documentation of the repair is here. Final alignment and painting was carried out by a professional bodyshop. Again receipt kept. Paint is flawless & matches perfectly. It’s a shame I’m thinking of selling but it just isn’t for me. Will be going back to another S2 Lotus Exige I think. Cars 100% perfect but obviously on a cat D. Any ideas of a rough estimation of value? Cheers, Andy
  5. Let me know how you get on. I've had to put mine off till next Thursday due to a busy work week .
  6. Ex S2 Elise / S2 Exige (currently S1 Exige). So hopefully i'll be welcome here!
  7. Car is going in for its P1 next week. Now the brake pads need changing soon. I can do this in my sleep so theres no way they are going to be doing it. Will they still sign off and stamp the book if I refuse to let them change the pads?
  8. Defo confirmed it was for the P1 at Chorley Nissan. Re the Warrington price, that was also for the P1, when I told the woman the price at Wigan all she said was "go there then!". Hardly good customer service!
  9. Yeah that includes the oil and associated parts. That was the price she came out with, no haggling! Then rang Nissan in Warrington who wanted £246! PS I live in Highfield nr Winstanley
  10. Bought a used key fob complete with a new blank off eBay for £18. Got the key cut for £7 at a local locksmiths. Coded the key in the barrel using the guide above and it works perfectly! Will be doing another spare key when another pops up on eBay
  11. Booked the zed into Chorley Nissan in Wigan for its P1. Total cost inc VAT & loan car = £89! Got to be a bargain for a main dealer stamp!
  12. I had a tape thing for my ipod and it was a million times better quality than an FM Transmitter. I think it must be down the tape device, yours must be a cheap one. Here is a guide though:- http://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-video/93941-make-a-line-aux-in-for-your-2003-bose-headunit-step-by-step-guide.html I thought the tape should have been better, it was a £20 one from currys too! Maybe I need to run a tape cleaner first as its probably never been used.
  13. Is there a guide anywhere to modify the Bose radio to take an input from a 3.5mm Jack style lead? Can anything be wired into the back? Tried one of those tapes with a wire into the Ipod and its absolutely crap. Thanks
  14. Yup, I live in Wigan (nr Orrell) and work in Warrington. Welcome to look anytime
  15. Following from the average age thread, i'm curious what people owned before buying your zed? I'm 25 and got my first car when I was 18: Diahatsu Fourtrak Hyundai Coupe (2001 shape) Alfa 156 GTA Alfa GT (3.2 V6) Lotus Elise S2 Lotus Exige S2 Current cars: Lotus Exige S1, the Zed & my girlfriends Mk5 GTI Golf.
  16. Last one just before going to the bodyshop
  17. Two weeks ago I bought my 350z on a Cat D with minimal damage. From speaking with the insurance engineer it was only written off due to a back order of parts at Nissan at the time, a real shame to write off such a nice car. (but a bargain for me!) I run Lotus race cars so preparing and repairing cars is nothing new to me. The car required the following parts: Bumper, bonnet, one headlight, radiators, I also replaced the surrounding trims etc to make it a 100% professional job. The damage was so light there was not even a mark on the chassis front legs. I replaced all the frame parts within two days; this is a testiment to Nissan with the superb way these cars are designed and built. I then left the final bodywork and paint to a local bodyshop who do excellent work. The front bumper is a Nismo V1 with the centre grille done in matt back. The bodyshops attention to detail was superb, and the paint match and finish well above that of the factory. If anyone in the northwest need a 1st class bodyshop they are called FGL Autobodies in Standish nr Wigan. It cost under £300 for the work you can see, inc a small repair to one wing and picking up/delivering back to my house. A few pics showing the process! I'll take some later of the finished car! Pics of the car in the bodyshop can be seen here! http://www.fglautobodies.co.uk/80415/info.php?p=7
  18. Out of the blue the pass window has stopped working. Does not drop down when opening the door either. Car is a 2006 facelift. Wont work from either drivers/pass door switches. Is there a fuse anywhere I could try?
  19. Can anyone recommend a good supercharger kit and an installer in the UK? Preferably Northwest? Have looked at some of the US sites in relation to price there, but was wondering what sort of cost i'm looking at over here? Also reliabilty of the 350z engine with a supercharger running ~ 380bhp? Thanks
  20. Again need a good condition bonnet asap. If anyone has one and it can be posted tomorrow to arrive Tuesday that would be excellent. Please PM/or ring me anytime 07723356526 Thanks Andy
  21. Received my new Nismo V1 bumper today. It was a pleasure ordering from you. It was very well packaged, and the quality is very good. Best of all it came in one day! I've seen it many times on forums of people bashing traders when they have been mis-treated, but I certainly believe posting +ve is good for the community too! Thanks again! Andy
  22. Cheers Lee, give me a bell when your free and we can sort out the details!
