  1. Are high flow cats legal? also i heard that you loose torque even with the high flow cats due to lack of back pressure? Are high flow cats expensive? Decats a no no. High flows still drop of some bottom end torque and are £280 OK. Well i guess thats a no then Dont really want to lose any power! viewtopic.php?f=62&t=25913&p=430504&sid=5ebe2c97d911fa2543f090bb526750dd#p430504

    My Z

I still think those wheels are best for Z, they follow the line somehow...I know they are stock, but they are my favourites by far! Oh, and I also have them , gunmetal grey, just perfect for my sunset, silver are best for black z's...
  3. Do it! I swapped my original cats (all original exhaust) to decat pipes from ebay (89pounds+pp), they have some damping, and I could swear it pulls better in 3-4,5k rpm range, maybe some loss under 2k rpm, but not sure... The sound is a little louder, a bit more raspy, but otherwise still good for everyday use. But when you step on it...oooooohhh, best spent 89pounds in years! But my engine check light did come on after 2days, reset it yesterday, so far it is off (code P0420 and P0430 - Catalyst System Efficiency Below Threshold ). But I have bought PC dongle for 30€ couple of months ago and it takes 1 minute to reset the light. Anyone knows, how long does it take for ECU to set itself back to normal? I think a couple of minutes, but could be wrong.... About MOT...I know a guy... and i have to do it every 2 years... oh, I have a 04 sunset....
  4. Well, I'd throw out the nav you have and fit Garmin 5000 (I did it). Couldn't be happier, it even plays mp3 to original stereo via fm or cassete adapter. If you need the remote, I have it, if you are interested, I can send you a picture, to see, if it is the right one. I will part it for 12GBp+ 18GBP postage (I'm from Slovenia). Thanks... Dejan
  5. But now I do have xenon lights, at only a fraction of costs of new ones: new-more than 2000€ pair, my solution: less than 300€. Can you see the difference in cost...? And as a bonus, the new ones have black sorround and smoked orange stripe, they look very good with my wheels As for, how they work, they are an exact copy, and a good one, of the original... cutoff is very defined, all fine. So, if you need to change, this advice could help you save some money...
  6. So, I bought the headlights from ebay usa, 220€ for pair, tax and postage included. They do fit on xenon car, except the connector, xenon is bigger because of the 2pins for the motor. I fitted H7 xenon aftermarket kit(4300K, no blueish crap), works fine. Pretty satisfied with the result...and saved A LOT of money... Can it be, that my Z is the most beautiful of all...?
  7. If not too late, you have disconnected engine coolant temperature sensor...
  8. Hi guys, I'm new to this forum (just bought 2004 350z orange with gunmetal wheels:), brembos etc., LHD, as I live in Europe) I bought it damaged in front, I managed to get most of parts, but I still need headlights. Current ones(cracked) are HID Xenon, but I'd like to swap them for non-xenon aftermarket ones, as they are around 200GBP new, delivered from USA ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=140332908930 I saw somwhere, that non-xenon lights won't fit on xenon 350s, is that true? I did my search here, no definitive answer... Otherwise i'm pretty confindent, I can fit the xenon lamp+starter in this non xenon unit. If that does not work, I can also buy H7 xenon kit and fit it... Thank you for your help! Dejan
