    Mirrors...

Unfortunately last night both my side mirrors were snapped off, someone tried to steal them. Right one is totally gone, left one still intact due to very strong wiring. Wanted to ask, if i got hold of a mirror from a convertible it should be the same fitment right?

    350z wanted...

Yup got myself a 54 plate UK model in red
  4. Anyone here on http://fantasy.premierleague.com/ ? If we have enough we could make a league?
  5. Has anyone fitted a front square plate onto the stock bumper? Would it sit in front of the radiator?
  6. Do you have any close-up pics at all?
  7. Yup, Mike's right. I found that the driver side headlight gave less room when unscrewing the bolt.
  8. Great instructions. Just did it myself, took 10mins. Now to do the other bulbs...

    Exterior Lighting

Dont use those ones, the angle of the LED is all wrong and you wont pass the MOT. As the LEDs face straight out, the angle of them in the housing will point them out to the side of the car, not out the back. You need the ones JPWarden sells as these are all around the "bulb" so light up the reflector and bounce the light out the back. Go look at your car and see which way the bulb is pointing, you'll see what I mean. Beleive me, I've been there the ones posted above by JPWarden are the best. I have had loads of bulbs off him and these are regarded as the ones to have Cheers guys

Cheers Sparky, managed to find a UK seller on eBay for the same thing: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2-X-9-LED-RED-744 ... 19b66d1396 Would you know if the other bulbs I pasted are right?
  11. I sold my '03 Compact about a month ago and still have the stock wheels. They were taken off the car around 18 months and have been sitting in the garage since. They're 16", running on Michelin Primacy HP 205/55 R16s, all with good tread. Collection from North London only. Open to offers. Pics below. Feel free to ask around.

Yup I'm having the bumper taken off to fit the parking sensors. Getting the rear indicator covers changed to these too: http://z-store.co.uk/index.cfm?fuseacti ... rentCat=35 Found these for the front and back indicators: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUBARU-IMPREZA-SI ... 3a543df7c5 These for the rear rog bulb: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bulb-RED-T20-21W- ... 5d2680702b Reverse: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XENON-REVERSE-LED ... 3ef60276d9 I think these are all the right ones... :S

What I'm confused about is that Autobulbs say that the indicators are 581. But if they are definately T20 then these should be OK right? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Silver-Indicator- ... 3a4aecdafd Reverse light: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/XENON-REVERSE-LED ... 3ef60276d9 Rear fog: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Bulb-RED-T20-21W- ... 5d2680702b I'm thinking of changing the rear indicator covers too, is the stock rear foglight red because of the bulb or the red lens cover?

Hi all, I'm looking to change the bulbs all around the car, just to confirm: Front sidelights - 501 Main beam - H7 HID bulb - D2R 35w Front indicators (chrome) - 581 or T20? Rear indicators (chrome) - 581? Rear reverse - 382? Rear fog light - 382? (is it possible to get these in chrome but still have them shine red?)

    Headlight overlays...

How comes? Once they're on can you get them off? It was probably more to do with the lights not being bright enough, the MOT implications and also the the safety and security of other road users and pedestrians.... Oh and if you happen to be in a accident at night and you insurance see that you have this mod you probably wont get paid out.. even if its the others fault! Seen it done and with HID's and you cant see jack @*!#.. Good luck with that! I agree with this. Silly and dangerous in my opinion. It also looks crap but tha's another thing altogether! Yeah I see where you guys are coming from but from the pics you can see that only the edges are smoked, the middle is where most light is emitted right?
  17. I'm thinking of doing the same. Want to upgrade HID bulbs to 8000k and have come across quite a few on eBay ranging from £20-30 per pair (D2S bulbs). Has anyone ever got them from eBay? Also, as for the front reflectors, want to match the colour so looking for white and found these: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... MEWAX%3AIT Only downside is that it says they'll come in from Taiwan, any thoughts?

I wouldn't say they're a snug fit, a bit of fiddling was needed but got there in the end

    OEM Aerial

I cant until I get new head unit - still got crappy jap one, but can just about pick up radio 1 What effect does getting a stubby have on the stereo system? You get a better signal from OEM aerial as opposed to stubby. If you have a decent head unit it makes no difference, but with jap head unit I can JUST about pick up radio 1 on some obscure frequency - with stubby I wouldnt be able to ... Mine came with a pretty high spec Pioneer unit. How will I know if it's good enough?

    Headlight overlays...

i can hardly see the road as it is.. why make them darker?? do you mean the background or the clear plastic? Like so...
  24. Does that mean you'll have access to all the other bulbs too?
  25. I'm thinking of making my front headlights darker by either getting some overlays or respraying them from the inside, most likely the first option as it's easier. Has anyone used overlays at all? Are there places in the UK where I could get them? Are there any downsides to them?
