Hi guys, I've just recently purchased a red Z and I'm looking to put some 19" BBS on it (the ones in the pic attached). I'll be getting LM reps for now as I don't have the money for genuine ones. They are 8.5j et 32 on the front and 9.5j et 38 rear at the rear. First question, I know what's meant by the 8.5j and 9.5j, but what's the 'et 32' and 'et 38'? Also, I wanted to find out if anyone out there has put on 19" BBS on their Z? If so, did you need to lower to get rid of any wheel gaps? Thanks, Jub

Hi people, After searching up and down the country, last Monday I finally purchased my Z. It's a red UK 2004 GT with 67k on the clock and purely stock (which is what I wanted as I'd like to know any mods that go on it inside out...) A bit about myself - I'm 21 and currently at uni and this is my 3rd car, the previous 2 being a 2000 1.2 Clio and more recently an '03 BMW 318ti Compact (pic attached - it will be greatly missed) I've heard many things about the forum and look forward to my time here Jub

I would prefer to buy a UK model but haven't ruled out an import just yet. Getting an import shoots up the insurance by £300 (I'm 21 you see). Apart from that though, are there really any bad points to buying an import?

Hi all, Newbie in the house. Just wondering if anyone had any advice for me. I'm looking to buy a Z coupe in September and have briefly looked around here and there. My budget isn't amazingly high being only 21, but looking to spend around £9500 max. Just wanted to know what are the basic things to look out for i.e. typical problems. Also had some specific questions: - Does a high mileage (80-100k) matter on a Z? - Are there any issues with imports apart from insurance? - How can tell if it is an import? - Which model should I be looking at? Any help is much appreciated. Also if anyone out there is selling or knows of someone selling that's within my above budget feel free to shout Cheers
