I thought it was quite good, after getting quoted a minimum of £3400! Admiral seem to think they can beat it when i'm 21, but Adrian Flux have won!!

Thanks for the advice. I think I will change the distance on my search, only reason was ease of looking around. If people don't mind taking time to check out cars close to their areas, it could obviously save me 100miles travel and open up my choices!! I have added to my budget, insurance and a few hundred for tyres etc. Should I be looking for a specfic model? thanks.

Spend a few quid on a tracker and maybe a camera to catch whats going on? I had my whole car keyed a few months ago. 9 panels in total... - I know how it feels to be at the other end. Prevention is the main target. - Put some 'CCTV in Operation' signs up as well as making your camera visible.

Just joined, and need a few tips to start me off, but first i'll give you some information on me... I'm 20, i live in surrey and i am looking to buy a 350z in about 3 months time. Obviously i'm young to be buying a 350z but i have checked out the insurance and it will be around £1.2k. I was looking into the Audi TT but after a test drive I decided against it, (Steering was very light, shape made it look a little girly and it didn't seem to fit the bill...) The 350z caught my eye, similar style, better manafacturer, more power and not girly! I have a budget of around £10k. Any tips on where to start? - I have read a few of the buyers guides ect. thanks in advance. Alex

Just read this, I live near Wilsons, epsom and it is one of the worst places to buy a car from/get a car serviced.... They will take every penny they can. imo you should find a local guy to take a look or get the RAC out to tell you what it is??? Hope you find the part you need for cheaper than that!!
