    yea when i was connecting the parking sensor wire to the ground i ran another wire to the bodywork. which loom to which loom? 674 to the kenwood loom?

    anyone know how to get the steering wheel controls working? i have the correct adaptor but don't know were to plug it in. tried putting it into the remote control wire but that didn't work

    i had a mate that bought some leather seats for his golf and they were in quite bad condition. he put baby oil on them and left them overnight and the next day they were back to their original glory with no cracks...strange but worked for him

    don't know bout anyone else but i have 2 large gaps above and below the hu and the new unit seems quieter but not much. still need to play about with equaliser though

    ok now that i've been using it i have another problem lol can't watch dvds on it. the screen just says "parking off". i can hear the audio but screen just shows the error. i take it i must have to do something with the wiring...but what?

    got every put back in place then read about grounding it so gonna do that either tonight or tomorrow along with trying to sort the steering wheel controls. i put the usb into the cubby above the hu and looks good thanks for all your help guys. much appreciated

    will do thanks. any chance you know the best way of routing the usb cable to the cubby hole behind the handbrake?

    yea turned it right up and there isn't even any fuss noise if you no what i mean is the blue/white on the 674 or the loom that came with the hu

    if you look at the back of the pic you can see the yellow and black rcas aswell B is the separate steering wheel cable that i bought where do the the 2 sets of rcas plug into? and will these provide sound?

    this is what i have so far should the bit circled A not go somewhere? and where does B go for the steering wheel controls? i tried it in the remot cont but no joy.

    theres only one 1 rca (red/white) cable though. i'll take a pic in the next few mins to show you

    there are 3 outputs on the back front preouts rear preout/sub preout audio/visual output which 1 do i plug into?

    ok i got the parts i needed as above and i've tried wiring the whole lot but with no joy. i've got power but no sound. where do the red and white rcas go? and does the 674 loom just plug into the loom that came with the kenwood unit and should it just work? sorry for being a n00b

    just ordered the kenwood hu with the bluetooth unit now i play the waiting game better come before the weekend so i can get it fitted or at least make an attempt
