  1. Ok so you need to submit the car make model and what pedigree of car it falls into? based on this thread viewtopic.php?f=21&t=32832 GT car sports car hyper car hot hatch bag of crap and so on koienegsegg = hyper car Maclaren F1 = hyper car Zenvo STI = hyper car Lambo murcielago = hyper car pagani zonda = hyper car Lamborghini Gallardo = super car MR2 Roadster = Sportscar MX5 = Sports car S2K = sports car BMW M3 = GT Bowler wildcat = road rally evo's = road rally subaru impreza's = road rally lancia delta integrale = road rally focus ST = hothatch CTR = hothatch Hyundai Scoupe = BOC
  2. i'll do it in this one what cars do you want in it? if i change the vote it resets it so get it right first time EDIT: well i could do a poll but that wouldnt work i dont think...
  3. Not easy to answer that one .... I would say it's more a GT than a sports because of the weight and the fact that it's a very comfortable long distance cruiser ............ and it's got enough space for a bit of luggage agreed
  4. hmm an evo no, thats a road rally car like an integrale, a hyper car is a veyron etc my old gto was a 4 seater and i suppose it was a gt car by name
  5. disagree! lambo, my old gto and many others are sorts cars. just not allowed to be FWD! and it has to be a sports car from the outset, not another car modified to be faster as others have said
  6. great point with the impractical! i agree thats a huge part of the definition.
  7. precisely biscuit, and that very advert reminded me of the convo today as it was identical so i posted. gone are the days of the Etype, dodge viper, lambo coutach, we all know as exotic sports cars. now in with the focus st's, golf gti's, and corsa vxrs
  8. basically this stems from someone talking to me today about kids getting near their sports car. after a couple of mins i asked what they had... A mini, the new one... in the past also, while standing next to a guy as he tried to fit something in in his corsa vxr he turned to me and said, "dont buy a sports car mate, cant fit anything in them haha" to which i pointed at the huge blue mitsubishi GTO with white stripes and huge exhuast and said "i know what you mean mate, its a struggle getting things in mine", he looked sheepish So my point is that the words "sports car" no longer have the exotic and attention grabbing appeal they once did as manufacturers continue to dilute the pedigree with hot hatch mongrel children. Is this the manufacturers fault or are people deluded that their child transportation device actually holds a place in automotive Crufts? EDIT: the wall viewtopic.php?f=21&t=32834&p=487644#p487644
  9. biscuit i didnt even finish reading yours sounds like you went for a cheap, unemotional and uninspiring shag at the local brother mate helimeddaz
  10. > Was it a sudden purchase only a week or so back or did you long to own one for years? always wanted one since they came out, remember one going past me once full beans and me and my mate shouted, NOW THATS A PROPER CAR > Could you sleep the night before? i had driven 330 miles to get to my mum and dads and had another 80 miles to cover so i was shattered > Did you wake up earlier than you would normally? was booked in to go see it so dragged a friend along nice and early > What did you do in the morning and what were your feelings (anxious, excited, worried, etc)? i was pleading that, having driven so far it would be a good one > What were your feelings collecting it in person and sitting behind the wheel knowing it's yours for the first time? loved it remember thinking everything was so much better than my focus st, had some soul!! > Did you go out for hours of driving straight away or did you go back home to admire it in peace? i got to enjoy 410 miles of it on the first day > Did you go straight to a family or friends house and give loved ones a quick blast? had my friend in the car to blast them home > Was it your first sports car? If not, which experience was the most memorable? The first one or your zed? not my first sports car. tbh i have to say my mitsubishi gto was and always will be my most memorable! it was a bag of bolts and loud as hell but loved every second in it without question! > Do you remember others pointing and giving you the thumbs up or taking pics for the first time? i think it was when i was in convoy with rich5259 on the way to my first meet and a guy sped up alongside to give me the thumbs up apart from meets no one has taken piccys maybe when it less standard now i find every time theres a tiny bit of dry road i get a huge smile but by far the best thing is you bunch of crazies
  11. hang on did we not just have a broken ps3 thread tarmac boy!!
  12. it will do, probably 6-7 percent i think he said, but i think it may be more than just a hole and actually i nicely done fitting Suitable for standard tow eye ? i would guess so mate, i think i will have to go back for another fitting to sort it aswell
  13. it will do, probably 6-7 percent i think he said, but i think it may be more than just a hole and actually i nicely done fitting
  14. here you go sorry to keep people waiting, things always take time when you do them properly
  15. what are you on about - that's exactly how you spelt it! Just live with it! no no this was about gamer, the numbers have changed
  16. +1 we need to know now if its worth doing a towing eye as the tooling is being done now. It would appear as an option, like silver/black The grill: i managed to claw it off of DHL today it looks cracking and i will post pics in a min some of the screws arent quite long enough to meet the mounting at the back so i cant get it fitted today. not a problem and will be resolved with new ones arriving on tuesday for now heres the piccys
  17. haha i quite like that, lots of work gone in to make it look real
  18. i was CC'd on the reply and noticed he mentioned the towing eye hole. when we discussed it he did say that if there a batch of people looking for it, it could be done. I assume this is because they need to cut and weld the holes before coating making it a bit more involved
  19. ney, thou needs not to beg as one is innocent of these preposterous accusations
  20. hey, replace 83! its a different spelling!
  21. well, all the lighting and where ever else i think needs a splash of matching colour bump
  22. some aren't typos but lots of the time they are as im just smushing the keyboard and hoping it resembles english that one was a typo as the keyboard is so stupidly small!
