ok, it having a was, polish and wax tomorrow and friday - going to the sister wedding and has to look good. I have just had the front wheel bearing replaced. Do you think that being up in the air would have caused an issue?

When I put the car in reverse the sensor keep going of like mad… as anyone had this problem before?

I would love to meet up since i have not yet come down but i am out tonight and the Zed is waiting to have the new front bearing put in. I should be able to make the next one and the bearing would have been done by then...

Fair points, i know i wouldnt need the camera but it is a nice toy to have . The Sav nav option it seems can be bought for around £35 from ebay, but it does look large and not sure where you would put this!

The only issue i would see is the Sat Nav is optional! "The navigation engine can be controlled directly using the Meos MC702B touch screen. Navigation module sold separately. " If this and the reversing camera are around 200 then i would go for Nurrishs system on here!

This maybe be a silly question but why are budget tyre no good? The speed rating is ok for the car and if all you do is town and motor way driving wouldnt this be ok? I will be going for the toyo, but just wondering....

I have toyo's on the front and i like them. My g/f dad is a director of a tyre distribution company and i was trying to get some cheap toyo from him £128 (not bad). He suggest these tyres and said they were pretty good and wer only £55, i havent taken him up on the offer - just not sure you can make a goo dtyre for that money

Has anyone heard of these tyres? any good? Bump..... Are they really that bad?

I agree with alot that zbiscuit has said....and fair play if you can afford it. I am amazed that someone at 21 can even think about affording a car that i can only just afford at 29. Although i did spend seven years (Msc cost alot) at uni and that takes a while to pay back, even worse i went later than most people... If you can afford then go for it...but a question you may like to ask your self is 'what i am missing out on just to afford a car like this'? biscuit is correct there are many cars which are very nice to drive...I drove a Mk 3 Golf Gti for years that i rebuilt just to afford that..

I know its not a clio but i used to have this issue with my Golf GTi MK3. I solved it by taking off the air filter and hose and spraying the intake with Carb cleaner. It seems the issue was a build up of grime of the years....hope that makes sense..

So which is best? Should i go for semi or fully synthetic?

Why would you want the AC on all the time? The other dial is the climate control and keeps the tempture at a constant level (not cold enough but there you go). I will check the holes etc...

I am new to this detailing stuff and i have had some helpful inofrmation thus far....but i need contiue to learn from you all My question is, the applicators (round white ones) i used while detailsing my car last weekend around now (the paint cleaner one mostly) are very dirty - can i wash these, or do you throw them away, or simply reuse as they are?
