I used to use my car everyday...Totally no problem at all apart from I only live 4 miles from work so starting the zed, and driving 4 miles on a cold morning started to get very expensive!!! 19MPG..I bike now saving miles on the zed !!! Im 20 and I completely love the car, I have the facelift model which is meant to be 296BHP. Although I did test drive a 309BHP but couldnt tell too much different plus I didnt really like the bonnet. It is rust because its bubbling the paint, its only a small patch but I am concerned that it will start bubbling down the door :( What should I do? It’s an 06 plate (facelift model) I am thinking of contacting Nissan......

There is no way you will need to replace the pads and discs at 22,000 unless it has been thrashed everywhere........ I have a 56 (facelift model with 29,000) and I still have loads on mine, the brakes are still VERY sharp.... Having said that, I suppose it’s a way of getting money of a car...1K from Nissan is no surprise, in my opinion i would go else where.. Quote a grand and see if you can get that off the price of the car Good luck... BTW zeds are amazing cars

Well to be honest, I think I have re-thread the stud with a dye..... Dont really fancy taking all the assembly off.......I really need a new bolt though, that would be awesome. How much do you want for it???

Guys / Ladies Today i have fitted my new Z centre caps on my Ray alloys HOWEVER when I re-installed my last alloy I have managed to cross thread a stud :( and knackered a bolt........ So I guess I will need to buy a new bolt and re-thread the stud with a dye.....Does anyone know the size / details of the thread on an 2006 350z (facelift) so that I can buy a dye which fits the bolt....Plus how much should I pay for a wheel bolt? I own a 2006 56 (facelift) 296BHP model gunmetal grey.My insurance is 900 per year, full comp, 750 excess, 2 years no claims bonus, IAM member... You will love the Zed mate, they are such a fantastic car. Good luck and hope to see some piccys soon !!! BTW if your looking at mods, I can recommend Sarah at the Z-store... Theres so much stuff id love to buy but ive just bought a house and can no longer afford it!!!!ha

Please can someone tell me how difficult it is to replace the headunit on a 2006 350z, i.e the operation of removing the front dash...... It also has bluetooth and steering controls, can they still be used in the same way with a different head unit??? Cheers Dave

I know this is difficult but if you can one of the best ways to decreasing the 0-100 times in a Zed is to reduce the weight of the car. Example.....If you have the 296BHP model which is roughly 1520KG, actually the BHP is nearer 198BHP Reducing the weight by the following can: 120KG - 215BHP 150KG - 220BHP 200KG - 228BHP 250KG - 237BHP (Potentially 4.7-4.9 0-60 time) (Source using simple maths....) Now obviously these values are approximations and I know it’s very difficult to lose lots of weight however think of the results from just taking the spare wheel out, removing the passenger seat, etc etc .......... No forced induction, more MPG.......... Everyone’s Happy. Maybe you already know this...Sorry if you do

I think the time has come to give my zed a Nismo Exhaust. Is anyone selling one? And how much do you roughly pay for them???? Also do they fit all models? Finally is there only one type of Nismo exhaust? Cheers Daveyboy10

Guys I really appreciate your comments and I do understand that there are very good copies out there, only I guess its pot luck as to whether they are a good fit or not. I just really like the idea of a front lip, has anybody got any suggestions as to how I can go about a lip??? Good Carbon Fibre ones?????? Good Plastic ones??????
