  1. I spent about 5-6 hours on it last night and got to the part where I was the character Trevor, I might delete it and start again I think I missed out on quite a bit in Los santos

You can change between characters as you like except for the start of the trevor story missions.

And you won't miss anything as any missions or events wont carry on until you complete them.

The fact that this is the most popular computer game on the market should make us all shudder, and pray that the violence on the screen doesn’t bleed into Britain’s streets."

  2. You do realise this is going to be pants compared the first one, already theyve had to tone it down to a pg13 :yuck:

Theres a few niggles, explosion which renders Murphy badly wounded - instead of crappy thugs blowing his limbs off

Suit looked cool at first, updated version of the original, fantastic... until they went with all black

    PG13?!?!?

I still do hope for the best on this one, great director, good cast, lets hope it lives up to the original ( i doubt it but hopefully it'll come close)

  3. Circa £1900.00 gets you a front and rear kit... :)

Is it not an extra £100 if you want the rear discs to make use of the OEM handbrake shoes?

Handbrake shoes? do we not have caliper n discs at back?

Our handbrake uses shoes round the axle hubs i believe. The handbrake doesnt use the caliper or brake discs

  4. I'm with StevoD here, i've got Varrstoen wheels as i wanted something like the te37's but i could in no way afford to spend 1k a wheel!

But at the same time i won't ever plaster any Volk stickers on them, they are Varrstoens through and through, nothing ever goes on my car unless it has a rightful place to be there, i don't want to fake something just to get the look, it has to have some other use to it as well.

I bought my carbon fibre wheels for my Daytona since, well, theyre carbon fibre! But it also reduces the unsprung mass, making a nimble bike feel like it's not even there, unfortunately it's still getting work done to it as everything except the chassis and engine is carbon fibre :p

But in the end 2 wheels cost me £2000! For a car the price increases to somewhere in the region of 4k a wheel alone!

I can understand ppl wanting to get their wheels or car wrapped or hydrodipped in carbon fibre, but even at a distance i could tell the difference between real and hyrdrodipped as it doesn't have that 3D effect that carbon fibre produces.

  5. Theres extra costs in it too, if you even want to see it in the flesh, you'll have to get a flight over, or go by a ferry. So can be very costly just to have a look, this is the problem of our island if you want to sell anything off island, people get put off by the travel as they fear that they might not like what theyre looking at and the wasting of £300 to £400 to get over here and back.

Good luck to the guy who is trying to sell it but it's going to be a difficult sale especially when you can get ones like mine which is an HR for 10k!

  6. This has got to be nearly as bad as that Veilside 350Z which keeps getting posted on Ebay...

This is from where i live, and been watching this car for years wondering where the guy has come up with the price.

Seen it driving around recently too, i don't know about anyone elses tastes but jeez that wing is sickening :yuck:

    Oh well!

  7. Fantastic cars, this was one i was looking at too before the zed.

Go to monkfish performance website, there's a whole load of tuning stuff for them, probably could spend upwards of 30k!

Walkinshaw even do superchargers with warranty too!

And the bi-modal exhaust is exquisite.

  8. I usually stay away from anything branded with Nismo, even if i really like the styling, pretty much based on that my car didn't come as standard as a Nismo.

I don't like my car wearing something it's not entitled too, and i usually like to buy stuff that has at least 2 uses, makes me feel like the part is being used effectively, and most parts that are branded Nismo... are just for looks!

  9. Yeah I got that exact same head unti a few weeks ago. I purchased all of my adaptors and fascias from incartech. The wiring looms work perfect first time. But be warned about the fascia adaptor, when I first fitted the head unit it would catch on the adaptor when you tilted the screen so to get around this I had to shave off some of the inner platic lip on the fascia, then I also had to put a washer behind each of the 2 top screws on the cars fascia that holds the unit in place, this in essence, tilts the head unit forward slightly which allows it to clear the fascia surround. Since then it has been fine. If you are using Android anda galaxy S4 then the you will need the extra android cable kit (about £70) but the MHL adapto from the kit wont work so you will need to buy a genuine Samsung MHL 2.0 adaptor (£37) and then it all works although slowly and not very responsive. If you have nay other phone, you should be fine.

Thanks everyone, and thanks jell36, just what i needed to know, i've got an S3 and i have all the necessary kit for cars with it so i should be fine on that front, but cheers for explaining the problems i'll be running into, i'll go ahead and order the things i need

  10. As pointed out to me, the XYZ forms I to a single section through the tunnel mid way. So any issues in the decats won't show.

The TDX has a silencer which now fits in this space but pushed to one side. In order to reclaim from MD would mean testing with oem cats because that's how it was designed. If it doesn't fit thereafter clearly the MD have made an error.

Kindly Darren-B has lent me some spare cats he has and have already been packaged and checked in for collection tomorrow.

We shall see what happens, but I seriously believe CS from looking at how the Zorst sits.

Gota say though, the 4" tail pipes are friggin huge and I'll need to make some rear bumper modifications to accommodate.

Do you need any pics of my set up to see what yours should be like?

Any help i'll do the best i can to provide, But yeah, if the cats are off even slightly then say goodbye to the rest of the exhaust fitting properly!

You'll love it im sure of it and it will fit with the OEM cats, i have some DE Cats from Abbey which had HR flanges fitted and mine is slightly off to one side, but still fits great as it does have a little bit of give in the design.
