I do seem to recall Alex suggesting the DoLuck filter was the way forward, may have to have a dabble in 3k miles!

Not familiar with the cars, though the 2nd one catches the eye. Wouldn't be too concerned on the clutch front. It's a weak point on the car for sure, but if it's still on the original and it feels OK and can pull up hill in 6th without revs flying, just points to the car having an easier life for me.

If you can, take someone familiar with the 350/mechanic with you to look the car over, or RAC inspection else. I didn't, and it cost me. Still, initial cost out of the way, never regretted it since!

Can't knock the work, looks awesome! Pretty much immaterial how fast it goes, it will look it's best gliding by anyway!

A little disappointed to read about these new restrictions coming into effect... can't say I am massively surprised though. I wonder if we'll see the 2013 cars with those little speakers blaring out electronic exhaust notes like that new Cupra R.

Yep, if the garage throws in the P3 with the deal, all the better. Just make sure they change the plugs & diff/gearbox oil for peace of mind!
