  1. This has over 100,000 views on Driftworks forum alone! face book group and other forums is well over 200,000!! the paper is nothing lol :teeth:

haha, maybe not - but hey, you might get a local outbreak of drifting converts in your area. Next thing you know, old biddies be sliding they're mobility scooters!

  2. Hmm that sounds a little bit like an issue I had recently with power steering. Check the powersteering tank and see if it's down on the cold min? If so, have a look for a leak, may be able to spot the drips on the undertray if you can get some light and an angle to look down inside the engine bay?

In my case, these high pressure pipes that sit on the passenger side had seen some weather and developed an ever so gradual leak (all greek to me, but Steve gave me a gander at the goosed part). It's a part nissan have recalled & uprated, and sponsored to keep the price down thankfully, and Falcon sorted it all out for me.

  3. Hmm, just coming back to the whole coding spare key thing. Refering to this in particular:

    http://www.350z-tech.com/zwiki/Programming_a_new_keyfob

That's the method for US spec cars and totally different to UK spec!

From experience, even if you get into registration mode you may have completely the wrong type of key... There's at least 2 different types that look the same.

Ahh, it's good to have some confirmation on that, thank you!

  4. Gave up trying to get the car into registration mode, and Falcon sorted the spare out for me. Has anyone actually successfully used this method to register a key? I may have just been rubbish in general in it's application, but it would be nice for some confirmation!

  5. Well, just to provide a flip side, dealt briefly with the Nissan Evans Halshaw on Wessington Way, Sunderland & the one in Sherburn, Durham; both experiences were fine really. The gent from the Durham branch who came out on the test drive with me wasn't pushy at all, and dealing with the service department twice @ Wessington Way was fine as well. Really just depends who you talk to in the end!

  6. Just another thumbs up; since they've been so helpful again! Steve especially, sorted the powersteering out and then took the car in again when it had a bit of a relapse. All good now. And they had the car valeted each time. It's never been cleaned so often!

If you need any work done in the North East, you'd be barmy to go anywhere else.
