Us guys here in Northern Ireland are part of the uk so same rules apply
Being back and forward across the "pond" quite abit i see quite a lot of cars from here being moved from here to the "mainland"
Hope it all goes well

I guess you have looked through the for sales section here
-
Agree with what you have said. know a couple of guys have had the GTR's and mention the same problem--The car is tooooo perfect (your granny could drive it fast) They are now selling them for exactly the reason you say
The zed IMHO is more a drivers car
-
Brilliant
I just spent 150 getting mine sprayed on saturday --yea black 2
free bump.........................

I assume you are talking about the wheel spacers. They will not affect your camber and if your tyres are already wearing to the inside i suspect a worn bush or some other element of the rear suspension.
I have 25mm rear spacers fitted and do not have tyre wear issues
OH in answer to your quest I fitted my own in about an hour just grab a mate to press the footbrake when you are tightening the fronts--makes life so much easier

For the weight of the car and the engine size economy isn't bad. Best I have had over 70 miles was 34mpg and that was really hardly touching the pedal at all and driving at about 45mph and usually i average 23-25 mpg
-
you got 10mpg--last track day i managed 8.3
-
Have you tried poking about with one of them telescopic magnet thingies before you dismantle too much
-
Does anyone have any feedback on the "ssentas"
I always thought the tread pattern was a bit wierd and I know the last vredsteins i had were quite a hard compound
-
Totally agree
Ryan is going to carry out the washing when i need it done--Normally I would go to the local carwash guys but as he does it for £5 I might as well use him

Basically every car is different--I went for a part correction which removed 99% of any swirl marking plus an interiar tidy up seats etc.
The entire job took about 10 hrs and cost £160 but again that is dependant on the finishing products used
The car looks better than new again

I have noticed that if the temperature is set pretty low the car automatically turns on recycled air and you have to switch it over to fresh air automatically. My Nissan jeep also has this annoying feature

Hi
Its been a few months since I bought the Z and over the weekend I left it into a local guy for some paint correction carried out
I didnt have any pictures of the entire car before the work done but i have this taken from a local website
Judge for yourselves on the improvement
These were taken after machining with 3m Fine Compound. Later refined with 3m Ultrafina
The car was finished in BiltHamber Autobalm and then layered with Finish Kare 1000
The work was done by---http://www.detailni.com/
Thanks for looking

What are the problems with re050's--I have had these fitted for 7k miles and have no issues with grip whatsoever in fact on track they perform very well
-
+1 very helpful --just received my brake pads within 2 days
-
That would be a very interesting topic
The same car dyno'd with standard fuel, 97 ron, 99 ron and 120ron!!
Maybe also 97ron with an additive
-
Just an interesting one--Has anyone run their Z on E85 fuel. Maybe not necessarily for ecomony (or green issues) but for performance alone--I was thinking of getting some for a track day
Can the ecu adapt fuelling to cope with this??.....
the octane is circa 100 to 105 ron
-
Has anyone used NF octane booster--I have heard some good reports

Personally I would ask them to check out the control arms and if they will come back and say they are fine and it subsequently transpires they are faulty then the problem will be theirs for mis-diagnosis of the fault. (they are the experts after all)
Sorry its maybe a backhand way of apportioning blame at the dealers door but believe me if you pay to have the anti-roll bar bushes/links replaced and this is not the cause they will be quick to charge you more.
I know from experience as i had both control arms replaced and they appear to be a weakness in the Z. as is the rear antiroll bar bushes and drop links.
The droplinks are circa £35 each and you should be able to fit them yourself or a local independant could help

My Zed and I believe a lot of others are a pain when cold however when warmed up it is fine when shifting from 1st to 2nd. I believe there is an issue with the synchro in sixth and i have noticed if I go from 4th to 6th or speedily from 5th to 6th it will crunch .
You could always try changing the oil (remember it is a gl4 on the early models and DO NOT put in GL5 as this will destroy the synchro rings as they are bronze/brass) This may help your cold shifts
