rays weight availble on my350z along with a few others.

gonna be a volks/rays engineering in 18's or nismo lmlgt4 , enkei rpf1 , basically any of the known brand forged rims sticking to 18 8.5 and 9.5 . think the rota's are not far behind but way more affordable , i know the guys fitting my tyres though my gtrs were light .

true although this will also vary by quality of wheel ie rays vs standard they rays set up would probably be even lighter if they were 19's wiht less tyre but that means less sidewall and a harsher ride.

take most ferrari , lambos etc they have 19's and 20's stock to keep the side wall thickness down.

Brand new, unsold 2006 car that was sold this year probably, and put on a 10 plate.

yeah id say most likely , sold in march probably for barely more than a used 06 .

seen a dealers near me that had 3 07/57 plates no bulge in the car park !

guess dealers got stuck wiht lot of rev ups they couldnt shift once the Hr was imenent.

There must be an optimum lightest point though where the changes balance out .

wash it then to get the crud off then get the autosol out , not sure about the logos though.

Think Rota publish the weights on their main site , the 18's being very close to the rays even though they are wider

are the spline drives ally or steel ? (no torque wrench so i just yank em up tight with a big breaker bar) so are they ok for taking some abuse , also will the normal steel ones fit gtrs OK as my current ones form the nissan wheel fit but theres barely room for the socket so were a pain to fit .

I like the look without the center caps, personally.

 

And I like the colour on the Azure, especially with that front lip.

 

yeah front looks OK but at the rear you can see the clip bits in the disc centres which looks pooh so ive just had a go at spraying some centre for the rear silver but tbh i tihnkil end up new ones all round .

yeah most annoying thing is this .. the place i got the tyres fitted then told me there are vredsetein main dealers and could ahve got my rears for £140 somthin fitted so would ahve had them intime and even been a lil cheaper ! doh !

on the plus side the vredesteins do seem to have come out well, fronts are perfect width , backs you can see a slight pull in the side wall but thers still rubber sticking past the rim so im quite pleased , was worried 255 wouldnt be wide enough although id still say 265 would be better.

im game went last year , usual pod p155 up organisation but some good cars as usual with jap only shows

yeah once i dig myself outs the creditcard hole im after some teins ,cant really drop here muhc as theres so many humps and bumps round my way.

not got the centres fitted yet as i think ones a got damaged clips , that and i may paint them silver not sure yet.

just got my tyres fitted to my gtrs finally but am now encountering nut issues !

the oem nuts fit but heres barely any room , read not really enough room to get the socket on !

what nuts do people use im not after anything flashing liekthe rays , thinking of these ...
